 + -1 moreBrett is an amazing electrician. He is extremely thorough and knowledgable. He is very kind as well explaining everything and answering all of my questions as a first time home buyer. I have also witnessed his work with a full home renovation on my brother's home and he did an outstanding job there as well. I would definitely continue to use him for any electrical needs and don't hesitate to recommend.

 + -1 moreI scheduled an appointment with Brett Hokanson about two days in advance, for Saturday at 9am. I told him I needed someone who could come on a weekend because I worked during the week, and he said absolutely. I also explained that my baby was due in one month and I was a bit in a rush to get these electrical issues in the nursery dealt with because she could come any day. He had me text him photos and explain my issues the Friday before, and I thought we were all set. He texted me at 9am on Saturday, the time he was supposed to be showing up, and said his sister was having electrical issues at her house so he was cancelling my appointment to go help her instead. He asked if I would meet him on Monday and I explained again that I was not available on weekdays. He assured me he would come that afternoon atfer he went to a birthday party for two or three hours. I was frustrated but figured as long as he came the same day I would just accommodate him. Not surprisingly, I got a text from him at 2:30pm asking what hours I was available on Monday. I had to reiterate for the THIRD TIME that I worked ALL DAY on weekdays and if he was going to flake on me again or wasn't actually available on weekends like he'd said to to just let me know so I could find someone else. He proceeded to lecture me about how he didn't flake and he was "stuck" at the birthday party. Needless to say I did not try to schedule with him after that I told him I was not interested in working with him.
Description of Work: I am preparing a nursery for my baby on the way, due in less than a month, and I needed someone to fix some of the outlets and other electrical issues in the nursery I am working on.

Description of Work: Performed all electrical work for a complete renovation of large master bathroom. I managed this project myself, without the help of a general contractor, so I really appreciate his willingness to coordinate the electrical work with the other contractors.

 + -1 moreThis one was a very small job so there really is not much to tell other than I was extremely satisfied with his work and his price.
Description of Work: In this case, it was a simple matter of installing a replacement motion light fixture (the old one was no longer working). However, Mr Hokanson has done a number of jobs for both me and my neighbor over the past 3 or 4 years. He has always done excellent work. He is very pleasant and very professional. At this point he is definitely my "go to guy" anytime I need an electrician''s services.
