Great! Jeff turned out to be great! Jeff found a lot of ways to cut some costs and yet still have work done even better then was proposed before. Jeff had won our trust, so we went ahead and booked some major work to be done. Jeff and Sean came out and did all the work with smiles on their faces and were fun, funny and very professional! Even after working in the heat for 8 hours they kept a great outlook going. Not once did we hear them complain and the work they did really impressed us. Jeff also found an electrical fire just waiting to happen from some really bad work done by whomever remodeled our house before putting it on the market. So he is a hero in this house!

The entire process went extremely well and exceeded my expectations.  I went to the Griffin Electric (GE) website Sunday evening (06/07/15) and received an email from GE (Luis Alvarez) around 7:47 AM Monday morning with appointment info.  Per his email I called back to confirm appointment and he gave me a time of noon to 2:00 pm on the same day.  I did not speak to the ?Service/Dispatcher? but the email was professional and gave me all the pertinent information.  The original service time I was given was between noon and 2:00 pm.   However, the electrician called shortly before 11:00 am and asked if he could arrive early.  I agreed and he arrived around 11:30 am.  His appearance was professional and his truck was clean and orderly.  He solved my initial problem as well as a secondary problem.  Also, because I?ve done some minor electrical work in the past I asked more than a few questions and he took time to address each question in detail.  I?m very satisfied with my first experience with GE.

Griffin is always very professional. Scheduling is prompt. Electricians arrive on time, and will call to give you a heads up if scheduled  in a "window" of time. They are polite,friendly and get the job done. Have never had a problem yet. (If I had wood to knock on now I would.)

Fan was installed as requested.

We had part of a circuit go out in our backbedroom. Right before they came out it suddenly went back on. I asked him to look at it to try and figure out what could cause that to happen. He said he would try but it is hard with a working cirucit to figure out where the problem is. Ten minutes later he was able to track it down and found a loose connection from the previous homeowner. Hopefully that fixes the problem. We pay into a program with SMUD each month for electircal work insurance. So we had no charge for this service call. He was very friendly, on time and let us know what was going on.

Scheduled appointment for estimate on first phone call. A little late returning estimate--but good e-mail communication. They promptly scheduled appointment and alerted me to possible local permit requirements. He did the installation on one of the hottest days in the summer and had to spend some time in the hot attic. Worked quickly and unobtrusively. We are happy with the work.

The best thing about them is that if you need work done by them, they always send the same workers out. I feel pretty comfortable with having them come out to my home. They have very good customer service and the prices are really good.

They were very good. The man that came out explained all that he was doing and was very polite. I would use him again.

First, Waldo the estimator came. I explained the projects to him and answered the few questions he asked about our 1940 home. They faxed us a written agreement which we signed and returned. Next, Mark the actual electrician/worker came. He assessed the situation, and they faxed us a NEW agreement with a higher cost. I complained, and the company stuck to their original estimate. It took Mark two and a half days to do the work, in part because of the old electrical systems Waldo had failed to ask us about. I think we got a bargain. However, Mark got some of the compound used to patch the wall on custom upholstery nearby and did not leave the work area as clean as he found it. More troubling is that now, 6 weeks later, the circuit for the outdoor lights is clearly overloaded. We keep blowing a fuse (yes we still have one fuse box) when we turn on the outside lights and other inside lights on that circuit. Mark said that circuit could handle that load, and obviously, it cannot.

They were just wonderful. They were extremely nice over the telephone. Very prompt service and very knowledgeable and professional technician.

I had to make two phone calls and send an e-mail to get them to call me back. They were late because they didn't have the right parts (even though I'd explained to them what they needed each time I called). They charged us for 1 1/2 hour of labor even though they were only there for 30 minutes.

When I phoned several companies, Griffin had the most professional office staff and was able to immediately send an estimator. Office staff, estimator, and electrician were always professional and on time. Quality of work was excellent and did everything they were requested.

Paul was friendly and arrived as scheduled. Performed tasks well and correctly. Though Griffin uses a minimum labor charge pricing scheme, the total cost for this job was appropriate - I would expect to pay about $85 for upgrading to a GFCI receptacle (parts and labor) and perhaps $135 for the switch/receptacle stack. I would call Griffin Electric again for work of this nature and would also consider them for more complex tasks.

The electrician was courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. He completed the work effortlessly and paid attention to detail, even down to the direction of the screws in the lightswtiches. I would definitely recommend this company, especially for their personable staff.

This company is extremely thorough and professional. They make sure that the entire job is done properly the first time and that they do not have to come out again.
