They visited my house 4 times. The first time the technician forgot and arrived 1 hour late after I called the office. He was to apply a poultice to the stain I had reported in the granite first thing in the morning, and then come back in the afternoon and seal all granite after the stain had been removed by the poultice. He left my house and traveled to Santa Rosa for a job. He returned at 4:15 pm, too late to seal the granite. The stain was not removed by the poultice. He came back the following week, applied a second poultice in the morning, and left for the Bay Area. He returned at 3:30 pm, and the stain was not removed. He sealed all the granite except for the slab with the stain. He came back a third time with a third poultice. I had told him on the first visit that the stain was oil, specifically salmon oil. I checked the jar of the material he was using for the 3rd poultice and the label said it was to be used to remove coffee and tea. He came back that afternoon and the stain remained. He sealed the slab around the stain. My husband researched on the internet, found a poultice solution, applied it, and the stain was removed. I called GreenEnviroTek and asked them to now come back and seal the formerly stained area. The technician arrived this afternoon, sealed the formerly stained area, and when finished, the stain was BACK. He said it was not the stain but in fact moisture in the granite and that it would evaporate. Time will tell.
