Glassman To The Rescue! is family owned and operated, offering same-day glass replacement services for broken or damaged window and door glass in homes, apartments, mobile homes and commercial properties. Our headquarters is in North Sacramento but Glassman is often rescuing property owners and renters in other parts of the Sacramento area and as far south as Elk Grove, east to Roseville, north to Woodland and west to Davis. Glassman To The Rescue! was established in Sacramento in 1999 providing professional, fast and friendly service to our customers. We operate on flexible hours (trying to accommodate YOUR schedule) as well as on Saturday for no additional charge. We are happy to work with property management companies and serve many owners of rental properties. We work directly with tenants and their schedules so repairs are convenient for both landlords and tenants. Our rates are reasonable - call us and see. For properties pending sale, we can bill repairs through your escrow company, if desired.

I was in no particular hurry, but after calling after 6pm at night, I received an estimate by the next morning, and work was completed by noon the following day. Their office stayed in close contact every step of the way by phone. The installer was punctual, and paid attention in detail. The price was fair. I researched the price of the window first. I know what my time is worth, and I couldn't have matched their price doing it myself.

I locked myself out of my house and broke a glass to get into it, had to leave to southern Cal for emergency and didn't have time to schedule an appointment for the day I had to leave. I called Glassman to the Rescue and Nancy was so very nice to have someone come over and replace the broken glass with plastic glass to secure my property. They didn't even need me to be there. Her customer service was way above and beyond. Then she called me the next day to say my glass was ready to be installed the next day! Would recommend them above all others!

I had two double-pane widows that needed yo be replaced. A small one (approx 18and quot;x 33and quot;) had a crack in it and a large one (approx 44and quot;x 33and quot;) had a broken seal and the interior had become cloudy. I called on a Wednesday and they came out that afternoon to measure the glass. Later that day they called to give me an estimate. I agreed and they said they would have the glass by Friday. They offered to come out on Saturday to install them but I said it was not urgent and Monday would be fine. They came on Monday and the installation looks very good. The color matches exactly and the quality of the double-pane is better than the previous windows. I am very pleased

They worked efficiently and we have had no issues with the replacement. Other quotes from other companies were twice the amount for the same product. We are happy with the results and would definitely use them again.

Everything went well!
I called Glassman to the Rescue and described the problem -- a crack in one of the panes of a dual pane window. The window was one of those that goes up and down, not side-to-side. I had measured it so he was able to offer an approximate price, which -- together with Angies List recommendation, where I had found this contractor -- was enough to ask him to come by, look at the window, confirm the quote, and perform the work. Carlos was here less than two hours later, made accurate measurements, pointed out a possible reason why the window had cracked (slightly crooked installation) and said he'd order the replacement glass unit (both panes, sealed, ready to install -- you don't replace just the one piece of glass, but the entire dual-pane unit, in my case the upper half of my window). He estimated when it would be ready and held his original phone price, which was a reasonable one as it included the new low-e glass module as well as his labor and travel. When it arrived he called me, asked when he could come over, and we agreed we could do it that very day.
Carlos arrived on time and with an assistant to help him. They took out the old window, replaced it with the new window, and did the whole thing with remarkable speed and efficiency. They were able to re-use the plastic trim strips which, I imagine, saved me some money. I paid the original estimate, gave them my thanks (and a little extra) and they were on their way.
I can't imagine how it would have gone any better. Carlos and his assistant were very professional, friendly and efficient.

I WOULDN'T USE THIS GUY AGAIN EVEN IF HE WAS FREE! Bad attitude and poor service. My elderly mother's patio door glass shattered. It was safety glass, therefore, did not go all over the place. called Carlos to replace the window. He could do it the same day. Ready to go. But when I told him that I just wanted to remove the glass because we were going to end up replacing the entire door, his attitude became impatient and frustrated. I am assuming it was because he wasn't going to get the $350 to replace the glass, but now $75 to remove the glass. He removed the glass. My husband paid him but did not look at the job. After Carlos left, I looked at the door. He left shards of glass all the way around the window frame. He just knocked the glass out with the backend of a screw driver. Very dangerous!! Especially for an 89 year old woman. I found little pieces of the glass all over the patio ground. I had to sweep it up myself.

I live in an old house, one of my windows came crashing down at 5 p.m. I called 2 other companies, both closed. I spoke with Nancy--so nice, and told her it could wait until tomorrow afternoon. She replied-- and quot;let me call him -- he might be able to get your window repaired this evening.and quot; Sure enough, about 2 hours later the window was repaired. Very professional, excellent customer service.

Spoke to Nancy, very nice and pleasant. She arranged for their technician to come out within a day. I was so thankful considering the hot temperatures and the cold air from the air conditioner would've been literally going out this window and very quickly. Overall, very happy with their service and I would recommend this company.

The only way this repair could have been easier is if I didn't need it in the first place!
Carlos was able to measure the windown from the outside while I was still at work so he could order the replacement. He showed up on time a couple of days later with the glass and had it installed in 30-45 minutes.
The woman who works in the office was easy to talk to, explained what was wrong with my window that made it look cloudy, and worked with my schedule. I will absolutely call Glassman to the Rescue next time a window pane fails.

Everything about our service was great. The technician called when he was on the way and arrived within the promised scheduled time. We initially called Glassman to the Rescue to get one broken 12x15-inch pane in a crank casement window replaced, but we ended up having two others that were cracked replaced as well. The technician was prompt, professional and did an excellent job.

Came on time and repaired a broken window within hours after the call. Did the work professionally and also provided me with instruction for how to free up other painted-in windows I have. A tenant called to say the tempered glass in the sliding glass door had cracked and crumbled. It was winter and cold so I wanted to get it replaced ASAP. Being the Christmas Holiday...everyone else I called was closed and messages said they would not be in until the following Tuesday. It was wonderful to finally hear a real person answer the phone! I hated to interrupt family time (you could hear kids playing in the background) but am very grateful they could replace the glass. They gave me a quote over the phone (it was $40 more than normal to come out on a Holiday...but it was well worth it!), showed up when they said and replaced the window quickly then cleaned up. Really lived up to his name and I am soooo glad he was open over the Holiday weekend.

Nancy handled my call very professionally. Even though I was requesting service on a Friday afternoon, she was gracious and understanding. I was asked whether I could wait for service and when I hesitated, she said that they would take care of my window that afternoon. Carlos, the owner and glazier, was prompt, extremely professional, friendly, and handled the job quickly. He made certain my belongings were covered to prevent broken glass from damaging them. I was very impressed with the service I received.
