Fixed the issue

The provider evaluated the signals in each room of the house and then replaced the old router with a new faster router.  He then reevaluated the signals in each room to see the difference.  He determined that the extender that was being used in the office to get signals to the back of the house was not only unnecessary, but detrimental to the efficacy of the new router.  He renamed the new router to be the same as the old one which made the change simple for all of the devices that I have in the house.  He then made sure that everything was working properly.  He gave me his phone number to call if I found any problems.  I was very happy with the entire experience.

See above.  Set up everything well.  Negative situation: I want to have another tv wall mounted, without needing anything else.  Cost is considered an add-on and so it becomes rather spendy to have the Geek Squad services for such a simple job.  I was well pleased with the end result, just not pleased that I cannot use them again without the upfront $150 fee just to show up.

Everything was done remotely.  The Geek Squad took control of my computer and fixed it without being here.

My old modem needed to be replaced. I was advised on what equipment I would need from Comcast. Noah answered all my questions, set up the network and helped me with an issue with my Trend Micro security as well. I have had nothing but good experiences with the Geek Squad.

I have subscribed to their service for a year. They know their stuff very well. They were good.

First laptop installed was determined to be a "lemon".  Returned the laptop to Best Buy store for exchange and they were very helpful.  The Geek Support re-installed all to working order.  All Best Buy and Geek Squad personnel were absolutely the most professional people that I have encountered in a long time.  They demonstrated excellent customer service skill sets.

Went fine. Called before scheduled time of arrival to confirm appointment. In and out in an hour.  Answered all my questions.  Very nice young men.

Their rewards program is fabulous and I just got all sorts of products free.  I bought things worth $168 but I only had to pay about $50 because I could use the reward coupons for having bought previously.  It was like buying something expensive for less than the half price.  The store is easy to navigate and the employees are extremely efficient.

 Geek Squad came our, diagnosed the problem as a bad timer assembly. the tech assured me that was the problem. lthen he proceeds to tell me the part is $389. thats half of a new machine. i found the part for $270. He confirmed that the new timer would fix the problem. Guess what, replacing the timer did not fix the problem. STill no power. the tech who diagnosed it called back and said that he did not know what was wrong then. I called Geek Squad to get another tech out to look at it. He determined that the power switch was bad. So, i bought the power swittch, replaced the bad switch, and lo and behold the dryer was operational. So, to make sure the timer was not the problem, i put the original timer back into the dryer and the dryer was still operational. Therefore, i never needed a timer in the first place.

Geek Squad management called after i complained about the costly mis diagnosis, but basically refused to admit their error and refused to reimburse for the $270 timer which was never needed in the first place.

This company shows a real lack to professionalism and would not recommend them.

THEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMPANY. THE MAN THAT THEY SENT TO MY HOUSE WAS VERY HARD WORKING. HE GAVE US A LOT OF GOOD INFORMATION ON HOW TO TAKE CARE OF OUR DISHWASHER. THEY GAVE US A GREAT WARRANTY ON THE WORK.

THIS COMPANY HAD VERY PROFESSIONAL SERVICES. THEY HAD A WONDERFUL PRICE AND THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS AMAZING. THEY WERE ALSO VERY RESPONSIVE BECAUSE WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY WERE HERE THE SAME DAY.

I AM PRETTY UPSET WITH BEST BUY. SOMEHOW MY COMPUTER BROKE AND I AM NOT SURE HOW. I TOOK IT IN AND THEY COULDN'T FIX IT. I HAD TO BUY A BRAND NEW COMPUTER. THEY SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB AND THEY DON'T. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.

THIS COMPANY HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING. I GOT THE COMPUTER HOME AND IT STILL DID NOT WORK RIGHT. THEY HAVE LOUSY COMMUNICATION. THEY DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL.

THEY DID A TREMENDOUS JOB. THEY HAD TO COME ON TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS TO FIX THE REFRIGERATOR. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT AND PROMPT. THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY WHEN I CALLED THEM.

THEY DID GREAT WORK ON OUR PC. THE COMPUTER HAD A VIRUS AND THEY REMOVED THE VIRUS. THEY GAVE ME A WARRANTY FOR A YEAR ON THE WORK DONE. THE SERVICEMEN WERE VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE. IF ANYTHING EVER HAPPENS TO MY COMPUTER AGAIN I'LL CALL THEM.

THEY NOTIFIED ME THAT MY COMPUTER WAS READY TO BE PICKED UP. THEN THEY CALLED BACK AND SAID THEY REPLACED THE WRONG PART AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PICK UP THE NEW PART. THIS WAS A INCONVENIENCE TO ME, DUE TO MY AGE AND THE DRIVING DISTANCE.

The handyman was very courteous and helpful. They responded immediately to the problem. The repair was included in the warranty on the machine so no cost was charged for the services.

WE HAD A COMPUTER THAT WAS FAIRLY NEW AND IT JUST WENT DOWN. THEY INSTALLED AN ALL NEW HARD DRIVE AND GOT IT BACK UP AND RUNNING IN NO TIME AT ALL.
