Description of Work: Forever Wood Construction replaced the tiles, tore down a wall and made the bathroom look larger and painted it as well.

Description of Work: Repair of water damage to kitchen ceiling; replacement of drywall, rehanging of lights, texturing and painting. He masked everything carefully, did a good job matching paint and texture and cleaned up well. I have since rehired this company to do a small remodeling project in my bathroom.

Description of Work: Clayton was very responsive and knowledgeable. We had 30 ft. of fence blow down in a storm and our entire yard was left exposed to passers by. The quality of his work was fantastic and his fence was very "beefy". I don't think it will be blowing down anytime soon. This was an extra big job because the old fenceline was covered with Ivy. He not only chipped away at the old Ivy, but he got rid of it. An unbelieveable feat in our eyes. We would highly recommend Clayton for any other work that may come up around our house.

Description of Work: I received a bid from Mr. Witherow for a 1700 square foot deck and decided to go with his company. After he did the demolition of the deck he found that the original deck had not been installed correctly which caused my siding around the deck to rot, Mr. Witherow then gave me a bid to fix the siding and I decided to have him also install that. I was impressed that Mr. Witherow pushed back another job he had in order to complete the extra work he had to do for me in order to complete my job in time so that things would be water tight before the next rain. Mr. Witherow also installed 2 exterior doors for me. I am very pleased with not only the work that was performed but the professionalism that came from not only Mr. Witherow but his workers, they were on time and very courteous. I would definitely recommend this company to all my friends or any one looking for an honest contractor.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend any work performed by Mr. Witherow/For Ever Wood Construction. He was a real life saver. While working as acting property manager in Downtown Sacramento, I discovered some very shoddy work which had been performed by a previous company in four different bathrooms on two different floors. To add to the problem, the building is about 100 years old and any repairs are much more complicated than in a moderne building. Mr. Witherow came out immediately and gave me and honest and accurate picture of what I was dealing with. After months of dealing with a VERY shady company, this was quite a relief. He went right to work, taking care of the issue. The bathrooms require marble countertops, which can get very pricey, however Mr. Witherow was able to get a reasonable price for very quailty work. While Mr. Witherow was completing the restrooms, more shoddy craftsmanship by the previous company. Even though it was not in his contract, Mr. Witherow addressed and solved these issues at no extra charge to my company. The restrooms look great!

Description of Work: Removed popcorn ceiling texture, repaired and installed new drywall and textured ceiling and walls. Kitchen remodel- Designed created and installed all new cabinets designed specifically for homeowners needs. Installed new granite countertops, new sink and fixtures, and installed new light fixtures. Reinstalled all appliances and equipment as needed.

Description of Work: Forever Wood Construction came out to my house and completely gutted my bathroom and kitchen and put in beautiful new custom cabinets. They put in a new granite counter top and slate flooring in the kitchen. In the bathroom they made art with the tile work they did.

Description of Work: Forever Wood Construction was hired to reside my home, install installation in the outer walls, install new electrical panel which were the 3 main items we wanted done. In addition to the main items we wanted also wanted a automatic dog door installed, new crawl space door, new garage side door and columns and handrail for the front porch. We also discussed with the owner that we would like our house painted. We sat with Clayton Witherow, the owner, discussed products we wished to use for the siding, cost of products and labor. Mr. Witherow was very professional in his presentation of his services and the services of others to paint and install the electrical panel. Within the cost was our permits with the county to reside the house and for the electrial panel. Our choice of siding was James D. Harding, a cement compound siding. This siding will most likely never need to be replaced. Excellent product and choice. Then we had to installate the walls. While the walls were opened we asked Clayton to install an automatic dog door. Our dog wears a electronic collar to go in and out. The door was installed in our master bedroom because it was the only access from the back yard. However, the door was serveral feet off the ground so Mr. Witherow offered to build steps for the dog to get in and out. Clayton also built a new crawl space door with latches for easy access and looks nice. We also had Mr. Witherow add a new gates to our fence on both sides of the house. Clayton also installed new light fixtures in the front and back at our request. We asked Mr. Witherow if he could do something different and new on our front porch. He recommended redwood collumns and handrail. It was an excellant choice and a beautiful job. It made the house look entirely different and grand. The painter Mr. Witherow recommended did an excellant job as well. The color for the house and trim color we agreed on was an excellant choice. This made the collumns and handrail stand out even more (they were stained). The painter did the house and trim and air vents on top of the house. He also painted our tuff shed in the back yard the same so they would match. Mr. Witherow kept the projects moving from the tearing off the old siding to the installation to the other items we wanted done and completed the project in the time frame he gave us during the first interview. Mr. Witherow and his crew did an excellant job. He was professional and we appreciated his being on top of the job and his honesty. We believe we won't need to do anything again to the exterior of our house. It is made to stay.

Description of Work: This contractor helped my wife and I with our rental property last fall. He did drywall repairs in the home and also helped with the kitchen remodel, including cabinet installation and crown molding installation. This company is very professional, was always at the job on-time and their work was excellent and clean. I would recommend Forever Wood Construction to any of my friends and appreciate your service!!
