The manufacture of the valve sent the incorrect valve at first so Fast Flow did have to come back to install new valve and raise the height of the shower head and valve.
New stone tile was being installed and the valve did not line up 90 degrees from wall. Contacted Fast Flow to come out to shorten tub spout as previously arraigned after tub surround was installed. Asked to have valve also corrected as not able to correctly install shower valve. Gregory stated that backing was not installed behind the valve and needed to be to correctly complete the installation of the valve handle.
I advised that this should have been done when he installed the valve and he stated that he "only roughed it in" and that "I could be mad at him or myself for not doing it" before closing up the wall. I had to tear out the stone tile and backer board to install the backing to the valve.
Upon closing it up again, turned on the valve and found the hot and cold to be reversed and that the water went to the shower head and tub spout. The diverter in the tub spout was working properly. Conclusion: Valve installed improperly.
Gregory made no effort to correct the problem and even contact me after being advised of the problem.
