Don & Son Tree Service/ Don's Tree Service.

Jon examined the damage so far and assured me that all would be OK. A complete, professional inspection and at no cost! When and if I ever need any tree service done, I will call them in a New York minute.

They are awesome. If you have a problem and you call them they will work with you. If you don't like something they will make it better for you. They are above and beyond.

They were on time and performed all work as promised. They did not leave until all the work was done, they also cleaned up and removed all clippings, branches and debris. We have a 30 year old huge, sappy tree with lots of leaves that fall during the fall season in our front yard, and the sap gets on our cars if we park them on the driveway, and raking leaves every other day for about 6 to 8 weeks until all the leaves are gone was becoming quite the chore, not to mention the sap. According to Don the cause for the sap are tree aphids, and treating the tree with the right solution will remove the tree aphids and make our sap problem disappear. Don and crew aggressively trimmed the sappy tree and went above and beyond what was listed on the contract. Don recommended I go buy Bayer Advanced tree and shrub protect and feed solution, which will keep the aphids from coming back for 12 months. My husband ran to Home Depot and bought the solution; after they were done trimming the tree, Don mixed the solution with water and treated the sappy tree we've been living with for years. He showed us how to mix it and apply it, so we can do it ourselves next spring. They removed a smaller tree in our backyard and grind the stump, as well as cut down the branches coming from our neighbors yard into our yard. I also had a root from an old tree growing along the ground in the backyard and he removed that too at no additional cost. I would definitely call them back for future tree services as needed.

Was very understanding about how long it took us to get the neighbor to cooperate with removal of an antennae that was in the way and extended the time frame on the estimate they gave us. Did the job as agreed, on time, neat and clean.....very professional and reasonable in the estimate they gave us. Will recommend them highly.

Called very responsive was able to come out and give estimate in timly manner. Scheduled job for 4/24 crew arrived early moved quickly and cleaned up after all was done. I would definitely and will definitely use them again.

We actually got a quote about nine months before we actually had the service done, but they honored their estimated price. The crew arrived promptly, worked quickly, and cleaned everything up. the only minor snag was that we had two estimates done last year, and the crew was only aware of one. They did not have a boom truck to trim a large tree in the front yard, but we agreed to choose a later date. A great experience!

Great crew, they also took care to work around a bird's nest the estimator found, and my flowers, and cleaned everything up.

Overall, the day of the trimming everything went fine. The trimmers arrived on time and were very cooperative. If I had realized the issues I stated above I believe they would have made an effort to clean up the loose branches and trim the redwood more extensively. Unfortunately, I didn't realize these things until after the job was done and I had paid them.

They were incredibly prompt in getting an estimate for my tree removals and trimmings, and were even able to do the job the very next day. They allowed me to break my total project into several stages, applying the discount to all items instead of just the first scheduled service. They were very nice and the yard was actually cleaner after they left than when they arrived. A small item was broken, which they told me about up front and offered to lower the price of the service by the replacement cost. I will definitely use this service for all of my tree work!

They were here on time -- Paul, Casey and Javier -- and they worked all day, except for lunch, turning my oak tree into a piece of artwork. They cleaned up all the limbs that came from the tree, from big to tiny, and blew the yard with the blower afterwards to pick up all debris. My yard looked better after they left than before they got there simply because they blew all the leaves off my deck and grass and walkway areas. They were fantastic and I would recommend to anybody out there who wants their trees trimmed by people who know what they're doing, call Don's Tree Service.

I wasn't there as it is a rental but they kept me informed and coordinated cutting the tree down with the tenant. This tree was a problem and appeared to me to be challenge to remove. Yet they did it for only $245. I expected to pay much more. These guys are really good. They have my strongest recommendation.

Punctual Cut the first tree down and then trimmed the other huge tree. My children were fascinated. Very friendly.

Don's company did an outstanding job at a great price. By price alone, they beat 3 other independent bids by > $300. The job was challenging as many large limbs were overhanging the house and an inexperienced fly-by night group could have easily put a hole (or worse) in it. They showed up on time and the tree removal and all clean up was done that day. Nice job cleaning up and not one branch hit the house. Stump grinding was delayed due to weather a couple of days, so the only complaint is that they did call to tell us that, but not major. Stump grinding was done quite well and no mess left behind. Very polite and professional crew (though if were their boss, I would make sure they wore hard hats, which they did not). All in all, I would hire Don again in an instant.

They were punctual inreturning the call but it was hard to get hold of their commits on when the removals would e done.. In the end, they were flexible in doing it when we werent around and did a good job with the stump/tree removals and cleanup around it.

We had three overgrown trees in front and back yard. I got three quotes. I chose Don and son for great reviews and the lowest price I got from those three bids. The crew came in timely, did the job swiftly, cleaned it up when it was done. They were courteous and professional. We are very pleased.

We have a bank of oleanders that run the length of our backyard, which backs up to one of the city's drainage canals in South Land Park. The oleanders grow all year long, and by the late fall have pretty much overtaken our yard. So for the past couple of years we have called on Don's Tree Service to trim them back. This year, I asked them to estimate what the cost would be to remove them. Their estimator gave us a price for the removal as well as the usual trim, and indicated that while the oleanders can become a nuisance, they provide a pretty good screen for the backyard, especially since they hide the city's ugly chainlink fence. So we went with the trim-back. Their schedule was booked out several weeks, but when they were able to come their guys were on time, and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done.

Both the gentleman who came out to give us an estimate and the work crew who came to do the actual job were very professional and friendly. We received quotes from several high rated companies in the area, but Don's not only gave us a great price but contacted up promptly for both the estimate and then to do the work itself. We had problems even getting a quote for the work from some of the companies within a two week period. We have been very happy with the work done on our trees and will be using Don's again when we need tree triming.

We had a great experience with these guys. They were on time and very professional. They cleaned up very well; no waste was left behind. They even took our pile of green waste with them.

The arborist arrived on time and seemed knowledgeable about trees. Did not select this company because: 1) He tried to pursuade me that the redwood should be pruned, not removed. It had been pruned two years previously, which had not resolved our concerns about size and close proximity to the house. Beautiful tree, but too big for the lot! Because we had already made the decision and called for an estimate for removal, I could not give him an A for professionalism. 2) The estimate called for us to be responsible for removal of the fence section required to remove the tree sections and access the area for the stump grinder. The company we selected removed the fence section and replaced it at no additional charge. 3) The estimate was over $1000 higher than either of the other tree services who provided estimates.

As before, the team did a nice job--the trees look great, they clean up after themselves, which is saying a lot since there were leaves all over the place and it is quite windy today. The guy was also nice enough to clean up one of my smaller trees for free when I asked him a question about it.

Happy with the service. Jon the arborist gave me some good advice on the tree roots and they did a nice job cleaning up the palm trees and also showed a a tree that was started to rot out that they took care of. Folks we punctual, professional and cleaned up after themselves.
