Don & Son Tree Service/ Don's Tree Service.

We had a 40 ft. tree with surface roots in the front yard that was starting to lift the driveway. The first place i called, Fallen Leaf Tree Management,, never returned my phone call. I had two other companies come out for bids and decided to go with Don and Son Tree Service. They arrived on time and had the tree down and debris removed in a couple of hours. Very quick and professional. About 20 minutes later, another employee arrived to grind the stump and roots. He also was very professional and congenial. He gave me some tips on which trees to buy and where to plant them. Very nice job overall and would definitely use them again.

I called, a man came out gave me a bid and a removal date. 4 men came on appoined date spent about 5 hours doing the job and cleaning up. I was satified with the job.

Even though, due to a mechanical problem with their truck, the crew was about 2 hours later than had been planned. The four of them worked very hard and efficiently to get the job done near the planned completion time. When they had finished and left, you would never have known there had been a large tree right in front of my house! All evidence of it was gone and the sidewalk and driveway that were very close to it were clear and clean. Not even a leaf or twig remained. The trimming of the olive trees was also very neatly and ascetically well done. By the next morning I had heard comments from three neighbors about what a great crew I had hired to remove that tree and how nice my yard looks now with it gone. I will definitely hire Don's Tree Service for tree trimming or removal anytime I may need that kind of job done in the future and I will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

They came across as very professional. I was going to hire them, but then I learned that there had been a miscommunication with another company, and that that company had in fact given me their estimate very quickly and had actually bid lower (but Don's bid was still competitive). My job was very simple, so I went with the cheapest company, but my impression was that Don's was very professional, and I would definitely hire them in the future.

They were fantastic. They were very punctual. They were clear with communication and discussed what was going to be done. They did a very thorough job on the Oak tree and trimmed a little bit of the Elm Tree. They explained exactly what they found, what they were doing, and suggestions on how to treat the trees to keep them growing and doing well. He even suggested not cutting much of the Elm tree currently and waiting until late fall to do rest of trimming, as it would be better for the tree. They also cleaned up as well as they could, and took the cut away with them. We will definitely use them in the near future and for years to come.

Don & Sons Tree Service was fast and efficient. Quick response time. Job was estimated to be done in 2 days and they did it in one! Will use no one else for my Tree service needs! Couldnt be happier.

We really like the guy who came over because he is really knowledgeable. He would tell us what was going on and basically doesn't try to create business. He would just tell us what we needed to know or what things needed to be done. He's a very fair guy.

Excellent work. I have used this company twice before and have been very pleased each time. They were on time, efficient and did a thorough cleanup afterwards. Problems or needed corrections found during inspection afterward were corrected immediately to my satisfaction.

I am very happy with their work! We have used Don's Tree Service a few times over the past 5 or 6 years and have always been pleased both with their service and price. This was a tough job. the tree had pushed up the deck along with sprinkler lines and pillars. The roots were threatening the pool water lines as well as the surrounding concrete. In many places the roots had the pillars surrounded so concrete removal was tough but had to be done so that the stump grinder could get to the roots and stump. The crew works very professionally, quickly and to-the point. But the guys are all very cordial. In a very physically demanding job, these guys are the best. And they are always on the lookout for ways to keep the surrounding house areas safe and protected (like putting up plywood against windows or tarping the pool) . They took the tree down one day and ground the stumps down another day. And if I had any extra requests they all were more than happy to help with whatever it was (like rolling the super heavy 8' section of tree up on some supports) Again, overall super job!

Start to finish Don's Tree Service was helpful and professional . My opinion was solicited and respected on how I wanted my tree to look .

They were great. They were a bit late getting here but they did it quickly. The price, quality, and professionalism was great. I will use them again in the future.

The entire experience with Don's Tree Service was a good one. First Dan came out and gave me a good estimate he wasn't in a hurry and talked to me about my trees and what should be done. On the day of the service the four man crew led by Robert came out on time and were very friendly and professional about there job. They removed one tree, and trimmed 3 others. They did a thorough clean up. My yard looks as clean as when they started. The trees look great! I would definitely use Don's Tree Service again!

I would describe their service as confusing. The gentleman who quoted the job under quoted. I was expecting them at 9:00 am and they did not show up until lunch time, then let themselves into my back yard since I was not home. It totally interfered with my whole day. I would use them again but only after I explained my expectations to them.

Their pricing is very reasonable and they do other things for me like prune my palm trees. They are always very reasonable; the owner comes out every time to look at what I want done. He and the rest of his crew are always very nice. They are very professional and clean up the area very well; they do not leave a mess, which is important. I will use them again in the future.

The crew arrived right on time and completed the tasks according to the estimate. In addition, they removed some tree stakes and support bands that were strangling a couple of our trees and took the time to explain some things we should be doing to make the trees healthier. There were two Japanese maples that are focal points and he was very careful about how they were trimmed. He made his suggestions and asked if I was OK with them. I appreciated that consideration and as it turned out, he was right on! They were very thorough with the clean up, even took the old tree stakes. This was my third experience with Don's Tree Service and as far as I'm concerned, I will call them again without hesitation. I would like to nominate them for a Super Service Award.

I had a very good experience with them...they were courteous and listened to my questions. They had to come back to grind the stumps because of rain and were on time and completed the work quickly. I would certainly hire them again.

Their price was very reasonable compared to everybody else. I have used them before about a year ago as they trimmed my pear and even though I wasn’t happy with many other things they were prompt to come out and fix it. They were good about it. I was much happier with the second crew that came out and did this year. They were very reasonable for what they did and they followed up immediately.

They were very pleasant and they did a good job. They back up there work and I have recommended them to friends as well.

The crew arrived on time and went straight to work. It was a large crew of 5 men working that day and they made very short work of those 2 trees. They were completely finished including clean-up in approx. 30 minutes. The trees are now a manageable height and beautifully shaped. Nate and his crew were very professional and respectful of my property.

We guess we spent $600 on their services but we don’t remember exactly. Overall the job they did was excellent. They were very professional and they did exactly what they said they would do. They were on time and they cleaned up well. The trees looked great when they finished and they continue to look good. We will use their services again in the future if we need to.

I had two trees in my front yard. I wanted to get two estimates on the same two trees: one to trim both and another to trim the larger tree in the center of the yard and remove the other tree closer to my neighbor's house and grind down the stump. My hope was that the estimate to trim one and remove the other would be feasible given my budget, and it was. They were originally going to do the work on one Friday afternoon, but due to rain they rescheduled for the following Friday, and were prompt about telling me so by phone. I was out of town when they did the work but came home to find a much improved looking front yard. The large tree, which had been quite overgrown, was nicely trimmed and the other tree was removed and no visible traces of the stump remained. They also cleaned up all debris after their work to my satisfaction. As a result, my (north-facing) front lawn is getting substantially more sunlight and the yard overall looks more attractive than before.
