Cortopassi's showroom and sales staff are extremely knowledgeable of the tile manufacturing companies they display in their store. There are a number of finished showers and patterns laid on the showroom floors to show various patterns. They are very friendly, customer service oriented, willingly provide advice and consultation when asked and very happy to order samples from the manufacturers. It is a good idea to get current samples because colors and textures are apt to change from batch to batch. I can't tell you how many tile stores I visited in the Sacramento area searching for products to purchase for my recent bathroom remodel and addition. While a number of stores acted like I was bothering them while shopping and some were unable to answer some of my questions and /or reluctant to provide me with samples, Cortopassi clearly knows that the public is their customer and is happy to help and serve. Cortopassi will be the first and possibly the only tile shop I will visit this spring before I start my kitchen remodel. I highly recommend them.

Altho I've visited most big & many small tile stores in Sacramento & Rancho Cordova, I have ended up buying my products from Cortopassi for three separate projects over the last couple of years. I think it is partly because their up-to-date stock coordinates really well among the various floor & wall tiles, trim pieces, accents, etc. And the other part is the expert service from their staff. I have worked with sales associate Elaine for previous & current projects and appreciate her excellent color sense and knowledge of their inventory. Also, Cortopassi -- tho not a discount retailer by any means -- is pretty upfront and matter-of-fact about relative costs, which I appreciate.
