Due to work reasons, I had to relocate out of Sacramento area and I needed to rent out my property. Angieslist was where I looked for suggestions for property managers and I decided to talk to Matt Carmazzi after seeing positive reviews. He was very prompt in responding and during the first meeting explained the things I needed to take care of before I rent . His expertise, promptness and professionalism convinced me that he is the right person and I signed the contract with him. It has been an excellent decision and Matt has been doing an outstanding job for several months. He is very prompt in responding to both my and my tenants needs. He did an outstanding job getting me a tenant in a very short time. He does a very good job balancing between the needs and demands of both owners and tenants. He does excellent book-keeping with the finances and this makes it easy during tax season

I feel lucky to have connected with Matt. At a difficult time, doing something I hadn't done before -- rent a house --he was professional, helpful and clearly informative about what I needed to do. HIs recommendations are reliable. He is responsive to my requests and those of the tenants. I feel his fees are reasonable -- and he is well organized and sends regular statements.

Matt Carmazzi provides excellent service by insuring that our house is consistently rented. He responds quickly to any problems that may occur. He acts in a professional manner at all times and he is easy to talk to. He always emails us with monthly reports and notice when we have been paid. I wish I would have gone with Carmazzi from the beginning. Matt was so helpful in making the transition from the other property management company. He proved to be much more thorough. Matt stepped right in and took charge. He constantly followed up with me to keep me informed of any issues. He is great as a go-between for the landlord and the tenant. I am thankful that I found Matt on Angies Lis and I think you’ll feel the same way when you meet him. Even though he didn’t have many reviews, I’ve never gone wrong with someone from this list. Matt met me at my property, with my tenant, and immediately went into property manager mode and found that the smoke detectors weren’t operational so he went to his car and grabbed some batteries and resolved the situation. He also professionally counseled the tenant of the dangers of not having a working smoke detector and to not remove the batteries in the future. I immediately knew this was the property manager that I’d been looking for. I had previously been with Delta and was woefully underwhelmed with their service and responsiveness. After retaining Matt, he’s continued to be extremely responsive, connected and engaged in my property, for which I am so thankful to Angie’s List (and Matt). I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for an impressive property manager to entrust your asset to.

I have known Matthew for six years now and have used his services as a property manager. Matt was recommended to my by a mutual friend. I own 2 rental properties and didn't know the first thing about managing renters. Matt stepped in, took control, was professional, knowledgeable, and I had renters in my town home ready to go. Matt took care of all renters business and to my amazement, I never heard from Matt regarding any problem with my town home. Matt stays on top of all issues that come up during the month with the property. He addresses all issues immediately & stays on top of new legislation regarding rental property. He has manager our rental house for 3 years & there has never been a problem which he didn't take care of immediately.

In 2012 I decided to turn one of my rental units over to a property management firm. I checked the neighborhood for existing property managers and came across Carmazzi Real Estate. I called Matt and he came to the property asap to meet with me. He evaluated the property, indicated what he thought the monthly rent should be, gave me suggestions on ways to improve the property, his fee structure, etc. Matt is an extremely talented property manager. He understands your point of view and makes you understand his point of view. He is there for you. I hired Matt and have not been disappointed. When and if issues arise, he calls you to discuss the problem, gives you alternatives to correct the situation and he is easy to talk to about any and all real estate needs.

I have been using them for about 3 months. They review applicants, do credit checks, collect rent and do other things related to my rental properties. It is very simple and professional. They are very good.
