Rick did not merely hand us an estimate as did the other contractors; he spent quality time with us explaining all the options and detailing the process. We were very comfortable with him. High marks for this. The actual work took a good deal longer than estimated, though this was not important since it was done outside the swimming season. Everything was done with high competence, except the clean up, which was incomplete in minor ways. e.g. grading not returned to original state, and had to pick up some scrap concrete myself. Mostly the finished job met our expectations, though we were surprised that the concrete was not evenly colored. Also there has been leakage of adhesive which necessitates occasionally scrubbing tiles.
