Very well. They were very professional and easy to deal with. Quite friendly and the work was done how and when they said it would be.

First glass was so poor quality, if you moved your head while looking through it, everything was "swimming". There were several warped areas in the glass. I had them take it back and get another one. The second glass was a different maker and was better than the first one, but only marginally better quality. They were professional and did not hesitate when I wanted another glass. The techs were very good and professional and they got it done very quickly. My only complaint is the quality of the glass.

I sustained a sizeable rock chip in my windshield on 1/3/15.  My auto mechanic recommended Capital Auto Glass for the repair.  My call was taken promptly and professionally and I made an appointment for 1/7/15.  When I arrived the friendly staff efficiently contacted my insurance company for authorization, took my car to the shop and 30 minutes later I was on my way.  Nice people, good service.

Very responsive to website requests for quote and e-mail communication.  Got me in the same day I contacted them.  Best price by $25-50.  Overall, they were very helpful and the windshield looked great.  Unfortunately, I got another chip in the windshield not long after that, so I still need to go back to get it repaired before it spreads and I need to replace the whole windshield again.  But that's obviously not there fault.  Just my misfortune.

They were prompt, did what they said they would gonna do and they were professional.

first had Capital Auto Glass fix a ding in the windshield, did a good job.
later decided I would rather replace the whole windshield.
Capital Auto Glass had one of the lower prices for the replacement, fast and friendly phone service, and did a great job overall.
would definitely use them again, but hoping it's a long time before I need to replace another windshield.....

Installer was professional and courteous. He went the extra mile repairing a piece of trim too. Very pleased with the company and installer. I price shopped and they were about the best. Would definitely do business with them again.

They said it might take two hours. I came back in less and the car was done. People seemed careful and concerned with their work.
I had planned to wait in the waiting room, but it had a chemical smell that couldn't compete with the out-of-doors.

Super great experience! We called for an estimate for front windshield replacement, after calling 10 other companies they go the best price. We got scheduled the same day we called, greeted by a friendly receptionist, was given an estimate job paperwork to sign and was told around 2 hours. They actually finished within an hour and was patient enough to wait for us to pick up thecar before the closed for the day.

In the night of April 19-20, while parked in a motel lot, our Subaru Forester was broken into with passenger side and rear windows smashed. We discovered the damage and theft on Saturday morning. After checking with the insurance company and checking local (Sacramento) auto glass shops, we chose Capital Auto. The young woman on the phone (and later in person) was very kind, professional, and helpful. Although a Saturday, she had me bring the car in — they had the glass in stock, a pleasant surprise.
The work was completed in about four-hours. The installer was very professional, explained his work, and the office staff was exceptional. Needless to say, after the trauma of the break-in and theft, the prompt, professional, and very professional service was much appreciated. We won't be back in Sacramento again, but should we need auto glass work, we would go back to Capital Auto in a heartbeat.

There is almost a bewildering number of auto glass replacement and repair companies in the Sacramento area and enough warnings on the internet about shoddy and/or pricey service that we approached finding a reliable company at a reasonable price with trepidation. The companies listed on Angie's didn't seem to have many recent reviews, and the top reviewed company gave an estimate that seemed quite high. So we checked some alternative 'net sites for reviews, and discovered Capital Auto Glass, which on one site had more than 50 reviews, only one of which reflected an unhappy experience while the others were enthusiastically positive. A quick check with the BBB showed the company had a A+ rating. The company opens at 8 a.m. and we phoned shortly after. The representative patiently answered our questions about warranty, quality, scope of work and so on. He named a price more than $100 under estimates we had received elsewhere. The person on the phone said we could have a same morning appointment at 10:30 a.m. We arrived and were met by friendly desk personnel. The car was taken into the shop almost immediately and the windshield replaced within an hour and ten minutes while we waited in a clean and spacious waiting room. (The company also provides mobile service, although we didn't require about its price.) There is no way we can judge the quality of the work at this early date. It will take a storm or two to test the seal and so on. But everything appears to be first-rate. If it proves not to be, we'll submit a follow-up report.
