+ -1 moreWe had hired a handyman to do this project. We purchased the materials and had just begun when he became ill and could not finish the project. We got several recommendations from a supplier and called them. Astoria was the most responsive and they could do the job the following week. This was a big project because all the furniture had to be moved to get access to install the baseboards. Astoria owners, Peter and Eva worked with us to stage the project so we could manage the chaos. They went beyond the contract requirements to help resolve some small issues with a crack in a wall and a door jam that required some extra work. They completed the work in 4 days and we are very pleased with how the new baseboards look.
Description of Work: Removed old baseboards, installed new baseboards throughout our 2800 sq ft home, then prepared painted or stained them. They made a custom application for our carpeted stairs and the tiled main entry with windows nearly to the floor. Although we had a delay at the beginning, once started they completed the work on time. They were neat thorough and discussed issues and ways to resolve them as they came up.
