About us
Founded in 1983 as Archival Framing, the shop began as part of the Michael Himovitz Gallery, offering quality framing services to art buyers. Curator D. Oldham Neath is a co-founder of Second Saturday, and has been part of the Sacramento arts community for over 35 years. She managed the Solomon Dubnick Gallery for seven years, served as president of the Center for Contemporary Art for three years, and has been the Art Curator for KVIE Public Television since 2009. Archival Gallery is family owned and operated by Tom and D. Neath, and their niece and frame designer Nicole Oldham. In addition to fine art sales and custom framing services, Archival Gallery provides consulting to collectors and businesses in the following areas: Art selection and placement into public locations (schools, restaurants, offices, outdoor spaces) Legacy artist collection disposition, storage, and management In-studio art consultation for established and beginner artists Art event curation and jurying In-home consultation on personal collection and/or art estate Guidance on art trusts and bequests
