My wife and I had a great experience working with A Doyon Construction for our deck construction needs. Bill and his crew were exceptional from start to finish. Bill's professionalism was evident from the outset, and he took the time to understand our requirements and offered valuable insights. Communications were clear and transparent, and the project was completed on time and within budget. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail were commendable, and our deck passed inspection with flying colors. The wrap around Trex deck with corner stairs turned out beautiful and sturdy. Bill gave us a fair price. He and his team were punctual and professional. We would definitely recommend him... and hire him again if we ever have another house that needs a deck.

He was very agreeable and nice to deal at the beginning. He agreed to close up some dry rout but never gave me a chance to paint and water proof the house or handrail. I had to remove the deck boards to paint the repair?He went back on his promise to build a step and privacy partition. Do not pay him before he's completely done or he is gone.

William did a great job and I would recommend him if you are building a deck.

They performed a lot of work for the money. They did everything they said they would very well. Their knowledge of the construction techniques was superb.

Without a doubt the worst piece of workmanship I have ever had the misfortune to experience. I contracted for him to build a wheelchair ramp, extend my property fence to encircle an adjacent concrete pad and install an automatic power gate in that fence. Among the problems: -Without consulting us, he created a new irregular fence-line boundary between our house and the neighbor’s house that was completely different than what was obviously already in place. -The fence was constructed out of substandard fence wood that is ugly, uneven and inconsistent with other fences on my property. -The fence wood used was dry, twisted unfinished redwood. It split easily and several slats split during construction and were left un-repaired or replaced. Twisted pieces were left as is. -The fence is so irregular and constructed of pieces with uneven height it looks like it belongs on a farm instead of in a residential neighborhood. -The fence slats are set so far apart, they provide no privacy. Some slats were not even fastened but just left hanging from a nail where they couldn’t be seen. -One gate in the fence was so short of the ground it invited the dog to dig under it to escape and I had to hire someone to remedy the situation. The construction of the power gate was very haphazard and careless. -Fence posts were not sufficiently secured to retain the locking accuracy of the power gate. I had to hire a person to improve the support. -The power gate’s locking pivot mechanism was located on small piece of wood that was not strong enough and not secured well enough to keep it from splitting. Again this was fixed by another person. -The power gate wiring was not consolidated and protected from the elements. The wheelchair ramp buckled because it was not strong enough and had to be replaced. In all, it was a total waste of money.

He did a great job. Very happy with the work, price and time it took to get the work scheduled and completed.

Awesome contractor. Moved our spa and overhang, removed the old dry-rotted 12 x 12 deck and support beams, disposed of them, went to 2 different Home Depots to get the quality of pressure-treated lumber he wanted, installed the new decking, moved the spa and overhang back and left the area spotless.All in less than 8 hours and and exactly ONE-HALF the cost of another estimate. Highly recommended!
