Tony Skoda Plumbing

Tony has been prompt, efficient and professional.  He has been reasonably priced.  I plan to build my next home in Lake Arrowhead and will use Tony as my plumber.  I trust he will do a professional job and not take me to cleaners in the process. The first time I called him, I thought I had a major problem.  He identified a small problem, repaired it promptly and didn't charge me an arm and a leg.

DO NOT use this plumber!  After a year, I'm STILL finding corners this guy cut on his work! We had just bought a house in the area and then I immediately needed to work out of town. We knew no one in the neighborhood, so my wife looked up the the two nearest plumbers. At the time, Tony Skoda seemed like the most professional, so my she went with him.
She had Mr. Skoda install a gas line to our new range. In doing so, he apparently picked a spot in the cabinet, under the range and just started drilling. Well he obviously must have known he hit something but was too lazy to go under the house in the buildup to see what it was. He ended up drilling right through a joist, weakening our floor! When I returned, I crawled under the house to examine the work and noticed that he had drilled right through the joist! I called him to express my displeasure. He was unapologetic but offered to come and "fix" it. How you would fix a joist that has already been drilled through?!! I told him that I didn't want him to touch my house again and declined the offer. Last winter, our heating bill seemed a bit high, so today, I crawled under the house to examined the insulation. Apparently where Mr. Skoda had brought the pipe in, from the gas meter, he had ripped off several sheets of insulation, leaving a large patch of uninsulated flooring, under my living room. He never re-installed the insulation   ...just left it tossed aside, under the house! Jeez! Don't walk, RUN from this guy!!
