Omg I had mr.kim he was amazing he knows how to do alot of thing with such perfection he made my old house look like new I would use him again in a quick minute if your lucky to have him you'll have no regrets thank you mr.kim ❤️ ?

Mr. Kim was a pleasure to work with. He did an excellent job for a fair price. And, he worked my project in between his many jobs even though he had to give up part of his Sunday afternoon. He was a true gentleman whom I would hire again.

*****BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE!***** DO NOT ALLOW THE NAME "GRACE" FOOL YOU TOO! We saw the name and the pre-Covid 19 ratings & never thought twice. First, there is no one named "Charlie & his crew" nor "Jay & his crew." The person currently representing Grace Painting is "Chung Kim." (Yet a man named Israel did most of the painting.) We asked Chung about the name "Charlie" and he did not know what we were talking about. He said some former clients called him Ed or Eddie. Yes, this should have been our first red flag but it was not, unfortunately. Chung's first visit to our house was to assess the inside painting job with 4 bedrooms, a hall, and a living room on 7/16/2021. The ceilings, walls, crown molding, baseboards, closets and closet doors needed to be painted. Chung said only the hall and 2 bedrooms ceilings had to be painted but all the others could be "touched up a little." We pointed out some of the baseboards had some damage and he reiterated he could touch those up also. He told us he could complete the entire job in 4 days. We were having a huge garage sale at the end of that 4th promised day of finishing the entire painting job. The price seemed good so we said yes. Here's his first estimate: Interior 1.All Walls---Excluding Kitchen . 2.Ceiling ----2 Rooms & Hallway. 3.All Baseboard-Excluding Kitchen. * Same color Eggshell on walls. * White semi gloss on Trims. * Same color Flat on Ceiling. * Patching crack & hole. * 1 Baseboard installed. * Cover & masking Furniture,Floors...etc. Total----$ 2800. The next day we had more questions. He said he'd come over the next day to finalize the color. The new color from the kitchen had to be matched with the living room since a wall was shared. After discussing this for a while Chung asked for 1/3 payment. We paid. The first day of painting we reminded him about painting the closet and closet doors. He said that was not included and it would be an extra charge. We had noticed we were able to see the damage through the paint on the baseboards. Then he changed. He said, 'IT CAN'T BE PERFECT!" "THIS IS NOT A MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE!" over and over. He said he would have to charge extra now for fixing a baseboard that he did not see during the estimating day. We asked why he did not see it and he said, "I CANNOT SEE!" laughing. Then yelled "YOU ARE A LIAR!" We were in complete and total shock by Chung’s change in demeanor and attitude towards us. The name GRACE needs to be stripped from this man because he has no MANNERS nor HONOR to his words. We cringe looking at all the pictures we took of the aftermath on Saturday, the 6th day not the last 4th day as promised. The pictures are of all of the trash left behind, the colored wall paint painted in uneven lines on the white crown molding in several places, white and colored paint dried dripping down, a distinguishing line where the new "matched paint" did not match other paint, peeling paint in many places due to no painting preparation, and every door and closet door sticks and cracks upon opening and closing as if the paint were still drying. Due to this stickiness, paint has come off all of the doors. Chung knew we were getting ready to sell our "NOT A MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE," yet this has set us back in both the time & money departments. Painters should be able to see what they are doing or honestly stop this type of work. We are now stuck with redoing this mess left behind. *****BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE!*****

Mr. Kim and Israel were very professional and completed the job on schedule. Our neighbors complemented us on the curb appeal of the new house paint and how quickly they completed the job. I highly recommend contacting Mr. Kim before you decide on a house painter.

We are very pleased with Mr Kim. He painted our exterior house when we first found him and he did a good job. Then we had our interior house done. Just recently we contacted him again to paint our enclosed patio inside and outside. He did a beautiful job and we are so happy. There are no messes left behind and he gave us the extra paint for future retouches. When asked, he will give suggestions as to paint colors. I will definitely use him again for future painting job.
