Because he came by and found that the AC didn't have enough refrigerant, the guy that originally installed my AC came back to add more refrigerant I think? They hooked up a big tank to the AC and then talked about some technical stuff.
The HERS Rater said that it dropped my AC temps down 4-5 degrees which would save me money. That was nice.
After the test was done, he prepared a report and certificates that he emailed me. I declined the paper copy. The city inspector asked me for the certificates so I forwarded them to him and got my permit closed! Finally!
Overall it went well. Have no complaints.
Found Alleluia Air online and called them. David, the owner, answered and was very professional. He answered all my questions in detail and walked me through the whole process. Since I do not know much about this HERS process and HVAC system, David provided all the information, plus more, to help me better understand the testing process.
Knowing I was in a rush, David schedule me in within 2 days, which was a Saturday. Since the test takes almost two hours, he was always keeping me in the loop with what he was doing and was very friendly the whole time.
