This is a mother/daughter team. Their rates are fair and came to my house every other week for the last 3 months or so. I have had increasing concerns from the first day when I found a broken hand mirror in the trash can. They did tell me about it and replaced it several weeks later. Upon inspection of the dusting after they left, I found the surfaces were dusted, but not the moulding of my tables and entertainment center; picture frames were not dusted as well as a piece of furniture. Our microwave has a handle that has been glued at the bottom. When opening it, we open it by grabbing onto the top. We told them about this, but at the last cleaning, the handle was broken again at the bottom. This was not reported to us; we found out later in the day. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed a couple of cobwebs in the living room which may have been present during a cleaning and were missed. Then again, maybe they materialized a couple of days after. Five days after the last cleaning, I was vacuuming and noticed several drops of something on the carpet. Upon close inspection, they were the results of of bleach dribbled from the master bathroom to the guest bathroom and to the kitchen. My husband and I do not carry bleach around the house. I can only surmise that the housecleaners were negligent with their cleaning rags or my cleaning spray bottle. I did not notice it earlier because I never think to look closely at the carpet for tiny drops of substance. We just walk on it. The vacuum with the light on it brought the drops to my attention. (We're working with carpet restoration pros to find out what we can do.)
