"I wrote the client an email letting her know that Slander on a platform that brings in a tremendous amount of revenue for my company is not a good thing. The comments that I quoted her for $8000 is not true. That I didn't complete the work is not true. She had us stop work for a couple weeks so her friend who works on fountains take a look at the project. We obliged, after paying the invoices, she had us start back up and work on other aspects of the project. This was an excavation project in Rocklin. I let the client know that the excavation will be difficult and it wad. The ground had a tremendous amount of rocks and took us twice as long to do the project. Hence Rocklin. She liked the work being done, however, having her roommate and other contractors look at the project, she changed her mind constantly. My original idea for a bridge next to the fountain was disregarded. We did what she wanted on the walkway then after consulting with her friend, she changed the work that was already completed, back to my original idea. We stopped that portion of the project so her friend could do it. It's often times that homeowners will say that the original work was poor because they don't like the work when it is completed per plans. In other words, it looks better in their head rather than it does in real life. And it's my belief that she wants money back so she can finance her friend. I was told by her and the friend, that he is much more expensive than my company. After invoice disputes, I discounted over $4,000 due to mistakes that happened on the project. I also didn't charge to fix the issues which took a lot of man hours. She paid her final invoice, we settled our differences, then rehired us to do more work in her front yard and bring materials to the back. After 3 days of work, I invoiced her and she told me that she would pay me whats fair. She paid around $250 dollars for dump fees out of approximately $2500 worth of work. It hurt me financially and my pride. But to avoid any complaints or bad reviews. I walked away with my tail between my legs and moved on. We did everything she asked and I have witnesses. In her mind, she didn't rehire us. We destroyed her front yard on purpose and she didn't want to pay us for fixing it. Unheard of. Months later, I get a complaint with the cslb and false statements on Angie Leads. I can prove that she made false statements. I can prove we completed everything except the fountain project, and I can prove that she stopped work so her friend could do the work. All is documented, and I will get a lawyer if she doesn't stop these malicious attacks. If anyone would like proof, please let me know how to send it. I told her, you can speak 99% truth, but one lie makes a lier. Defamation of character to a good reputation that took years to create is illegal. Please see my Google reviews."
