"The easiest way to rebut this claim is to show the facts. Roseville Carpet One went into contract on 10 - 25 - 2012. Contract amount was 3600.00 for laminate and installation and customer paid a deposit of 400.00 per cashers check. Installation was scheduled for November 15 & 16 and went as scheduled. Customer was to pay balance by cashiers check on completion of job and did not have the cashiers check on completion. Customer stated she would have balance paid within a couple of days. Per phone call on November 21 the cashiers check was mailed and recieved on November 25 and deposited on November 26. However the check was short 1000.00 and that prompted a phone call to customer on November 26 regarding the balance on the contract. Customer stated she could not pay the balance but would make payments of $333.34 in the months of January 4 - March 4 - and the final balance by April 4. A call was placed to Mrs Douglas on January 10 2013 because the first payment was not recieved. [member name removed] would not return phone call. A second call was placed on January 21 2013 and [member name removed] would not return the phone call. A third call was placed on Febuary 4 2013 letting the customer know that if she did not return the phone call by Febuary 8 2013 we would place a lien on her property regarding the balance. Paper work was filed on Febuary 8 2013 and a lien was recorded on Febuary 21 2013 10:28:28 am. [member name removed] has not spoken to anyone in this office since early January regarding posible problems or the balance on the job. Any issues with trims have not been reported to our office. Sincerely Earl Mann"
