The word “neighborly” is a perfect name given to the company. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been so friendly, and they each have gone beyond the call of duty to help keep my home pest-free. Doug, the one who currently sprays my house for bugs, is wonderful. He’s very knowledgeable about insects and other critters, and he’s offered and provided solutions to potential problems. I am especially impressed with Doug’s concern about the environment, which is representative of Neighborly Pest Management’s point of view. The sprays he uses will not hurt my cat or the plants in the area. His advice one how to keep ants out of my home includes “safe” ways to do so. Each of his suggestions has worked each time. I highly recommend Neighborly Pest Management. It provides the most thorough and thoughtful ways to keep my home protected!!

For the past year I had neighborly pest management service my home in Elk Grove, CA. I discussed the end of the contract in July and they explained I only had 2 more appointments before the end of the contract as this is when I planned to have the home sold. Instead of canceling the contract they kept it going to collect extra money. The manager said, "This is something that is common with accounts. You never said canceled the account specifically. We don't know unless you say these words as some people keep their accounts going for new home owners" Neighborly Pest Management will never service anymore of my rental properties in the area as I do not appreciate unethical businesses.

As Steve had hoped for, the HOA got their contractor out and handled the problem. I was so impressed that he was not concerned about himself. He wanted the best outcome for me, even if he did not get the job. He did not want me to pay for something that the HOA was responsible for. Steve is the type of person I like to do business with. He is  honest, trustworthy, and has integrity.
We have an ant problem so I am definately contacting Steve to take care of the ants.

It was less expensive to get a year's service than to pay for a one time service that would most likely require follow up services.  The tenants are extremely happy that they don't hear noises from the attic anymore.

They were great. The lady we used was real good and very very helpful to another neighbor as well while she was here. She was prompt, explained everything, gave us some information as to how long to be away, treated us very personable and we just liked that she was quick. She gave us some extra things to put in our drawers in case the problem came back and she told us to call her if it reoccurred. The other good thing is that she was very helpful to a retired couple off this street that had similar problems and so she took the time to go up there and talk with them as well. I thought that was nice. She did what she came for, what we needed her for and we never had problems again. She came right away; when she told us she was coming at 10:00, she came at 10:00.

The neighborly pest management had a skilled workers, did an excellent job in repairs. Their inspector came out twice to make sure that the damage underneath the house was satisfactorily repaired. Inspector crawled underneath the house and inspected the work completely as well as the exterior repairs. Prior to tenting and fumigation of my home, members of their management team came to my home and helped me bag my food products to meet government requirements for safety. They were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful.
The tenting and fumigation of my home was coordinated with and scheduled to take place while I was on a trip to Washington DC to view the World War II Memorial provided by Honor Flight Of Northern CA for World War II Veterans.
I would not hesitate under any condition to have Neighborly Pest Management accomplish our pest control needs in the future.

My husband and I moved to the area 5 years ago and needed someone to solve our Ant problem.  I called Neighborly Pest Management because I liked that they were locally owned and not a chain.  A technician quickly came out as planned, took care of my ants and let me know of all the services Neighborly provides.  My husband and I decided to try using the lawn services to perk up our grass and trees.  Our grass quickly became the greenest around and weed free, plus our trees flourished when our neighbors were taking their's out as they were dead.    We have been on monthly service for 5 years and could not be more pleased with how the staff at Neighborly treat us, they are dependable, knowledgable, friendly, and locally owned which is important to us.

They've always been reliable & do the job well.  If we call and say we need special service - like spring/summer yellowjacket spraying - they'll come out & make sure they get the bugs at the source. They even let us know we had a problem with skunks, even though it wasn't necessarily their line of work, & got us in touch with a pest catcher.

Bill was right on time and completed his pest inspection professionally. When he was finished, he walked me around the property and explained his findings clearly.

The office staff and technicians who came to my home were very responsive, courteous, and professional. The man who came to my home to perform the initial inspection was very thorough. He poked around the home exterior and throughout the crawl space (i.e. "sub-area") for about 1.5 hours. He identified termites and subsequently provided me a great report including a sketch of my home and corresponding treatment plan. They recommended a spot treatment on the exterior perimeter and full treatment in the crawl space beneath my home. I questioned the spot treatment and was told it was an approach to keep the price down, and that no other exterior areas appeared to be at risk or prone to risk. I opted to go with a full perimeter treatment and they were willing to negotiate on the price to keep it competitive with other estimates I'd received. On the day of treatment a new technician and the man who gave me the original estimate arrived to apply Termidor. They dug trenches around the exterior perimeter of my home. The trenches were not deep, maybe about 3-4 inches. I noticed that they pushed the dirt back into the trenches to fill them after the Termidor product appeared to have already dried (maybe 1 hour after application). I've read that the dirt should be replaced while the trenches are still full of the Termidor product to ensure the replaced dirt soaks up the product and is also effectively treated. They didn't do that? One thing that also really surprised me was that they did not do any trenching in the crawl space. They sprayed the product in the crawl space around the interior perimeter and all supporting beams (those that rest on concrete blocks throughout the sub-area to support the house), but they did not trench anything in there. Everything I've read about Termidor states that you must trench? I asked the technician and he said he had been spraying sub areas the same way for many years with no issues. Perhaps, but this application method seems to be inconsistent with what I've read is appropriate? The technician also informed me that he had applied 90 gallons of the product; suggesting that was a lot and my home would be well protected. I read many sites that state the proper application rate is 4 gallons for every 10 linear feet. Doing the math, 90 gallons would give me only 225 linear feet which seems short for my home (2300 sqft). Nevertheless, the guys seemed to know what they were doing and were very professional. I didn't feel the need to argue my concerns. What I know only comes from a couple hours reading articles on the internet. They are the professionals. I suppose time will tell if their job was sufficient to take care of my current termite problem. They guarantee no active termites for a year.
