HOLLAND CUSTOM IRON WORKS INC

Went to Holland iron works to inquire about railings for small deck. Office seemed cluttered and disorganized. Spoke to owner, described what I wanted (simple wrought iron rail) , woman in office told him to show me a catalog of styles, he didn't bother. He told me to bring in measurements, I returned a couple of days later with measurements and photos. Came in office only man was there, stood at counter for approx. 20 minutes...... with no acknowledgment that I was there, while he discussed building choppers. Showed photo's and measurements, he gave me an approx. price of $900+ but said he would have to come out to take exact measurements. I live about 2 miles away from the shop. He had all my contact info. 3 weeks later no response. Never heard from him. I contacted Goodwin-Cole, they came out for estimate, arrived several minutes early, neat appearance and professional. I had them do the job, again they showed up several minutes early, friendly professional crew, completed the job quickly, very nice, very happy with Goodwin-Cole, would use them again.
