On time, on budget and well done replacing 3 posts for me and 4 for my neighbor. We’re very happy with how it went and the finished service. Also especially happy they hauled away the old posts.

This company is super professional got the job done in one day did everything they said they were going to do and I know I have a beautiful fence that will last many many years they replaced

Awesome job! They showed up on time and did everything promised. Unfortunately two days later we had a freak accident where our above ground pool collapsed and knocked down a section of the brand new fence. I contacted Fence Lifts and was able to quickly coordinate a date and time to obtain a free estimate for fence work needed. In addition, they were able to schedule both projects within days (weather permitting) - one project was scheduled for the same week as the estimate, the other project/location was completed the following week. Fence Lifts is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Fence Lifts team quickly removed a large bush so we could move the fence out a few feet. The finished product/new fence looks fantastic! Excellent, from the estimate, easy breakdown to understand and the options for steel posts. Chris was very precise and easy to talk to. Other contracters would give confusing quotes by breaking up the differnent areas, up to 8 different pricies for each section! Chris on the other hand had a very clear estimate for myself and my neigborhs on each side, We all knew the total each person was paying, with the steel post upgrade. He came out on the day of the teardown and install. His staff were polite, they cleaned up the area very nicely. I truly have no complaints and have recommended him. Fyi, the work was done October 2017, no issues. I give Chris an A+!

Very well. In the quote they laid out various options that could be compared (with or without kickboard, steel fence posts or not). After choosing the no-frills option, the work was scheduled within a few days (this is post winter storms, end of April). The team showed up on time and went to work right away after reconfirming which sides needed to be replaced. Using quick setting concrete and a crew of 4 people the whole fence was demo'd and rebuilt within less than six hours. The crew was very professional and informed me ahead of time that they might have to trim a few branches near the fence to facilitate the work. Once the job was completed they cleaned up thoroughly, deposited the old fence parts on the curb in a neat pile and were on their way. The old fence was picked up on a flat bed the following morning. That crew also swept the ground after loading everything. I liked their professionalism and the communication with the owner, Chris, worked out very well for me. I would definitely hire them again, though I hope, I won't need a new fence for the next 20 years!

They take a long time to respond after they give you a written contract. 
The contract was written on 8/25/15. They came out on 9/30 to do the work.

Chris was so easy to work with. He was able to come out right away for the estimate, and was able to start the work right away as well. We hit a bump in the road with all the vines, but Chris helped us through it and was patient and helpful. He was very punctual, great at keeping in touch and returning calls, and best of all the fence in GORGEOUS!!

Along with our neighbor, we took about bids from five different companies for this job. Chris Gearhart (owner of Fence Lifts) was able to give me an estimate over the phone after I gave him the dimensions, and later came out to meet with me when it appeared that he would be the low bid. (I did not want him to come out all the way from Roseville if he was not under serious consideration.) He is a straightforward, unassuming guy who seemed quite knowledgeable and professional. He was able to point out some fine points about his trade. Then via e-mail the next couple of weeks, he provided differential pricing on alternatives (i.e. wood posts; metal posts; two rails; three rails) which enabled the neighbor and us to go over several options.
Chris and his son Tom completed the two-day job just a few hours ago, and they did fantastic work! We had another fence with our OTHER neighbor replaced a year ago (by another company who has since apparently gone out of business) and while we paid significantly less, there is no comparison. Fence Lifts does not compromise when it comes to quality; they are priced very competitively. We are very pleased with the results as well as with the overall experience!
