Called him Monday late afternoon, he came out Tuesday and give me a bid and did the work Wednesday morning. work was done as promised.

He came on time, did the work very nicely, and for the agreed upon price.

Mr. Gonsales was very punctual for the initial visit and on the day the work was performed. He did everything we had agreed upon. He also offered many good ideas for the future of the yard (e.g. where to put a drainage ditch, what types of plants would work well in different areas). He did a very good job of clearing the yard and trimming the larger bushes. However, the most important objective for me was to make the yard safe enough for our dog and our 1 year old to be outside without stepping on a rusty nail, piece of broken glass, or other random small item. When I checked his work, I found several nails, glass shards, etc still in the yard. I phoned Mr. Gonsales and explained the situation; he returned right away, arriving in less than 10 minutes, and spent another 20 minutes walking around the yard gathering small items. I appreciated his rapid response. However, a week later, I am still finding small items and have yet to let our 1 year old in the yard. My overall sense is that he used a rake to gather items, then walked around (after I called him to come back), but ultimately did not appreciate the level of detailed pick-up the job required (anyone with a toddler knows that anything and everything goes straight into the mouth). For the amount I paid, Mr. Gonsales and another worker spent about 5 hours at my house; I think a thorough job required at least one more full hour.

He is here every Thursday to mow the lawn. We have a monthly contract with him. He does a good job and has been very punctual. If I ask him to do something he would jump right to it. He is due to do some other work too for us. His prices are good. The only minor problem is that he doesn’t speak really good English. The quality of his work so far has been very good. He keeps us informed if at all he’d be late.

Very good and very thorough. I went with Gonsales because I favor their pricing.
