The contractor (Mark) was great, both of his crews were OUTSTANDING and PROFESSIONAL -- they did a very good job. I appreciate the respect they gave me and my home.

I was lied to regarding the existing irrigation. Marc said it would remain, they would just cap off the heads so if the turf was removedit would be usable. They cut off the heads, AND cut the line in another area of my property to disconnect from the system, ruining the system. I tried contacting them and no answers at all. They left debris in my yard both times they were out working....just awful.

This company poured/installed a sub standard driveway and did a so-called â repair â that makes my driveway, the laughingstock of the neighborhood. I spent a lot of money having a new driveway poured and the owner, Ken Johnson, could care less that I have a substandard driveway. I was not one of his rich clients in El Dorado Hills, Roseville, etc. etc. I am going to pursue every course of legal action against him that is possible. To say that he is a lowlife, is an understatement

Do not use this company. He lied to me about the scope of work. I asked him about a problem with current driveway, he suggested a gentle slope which meant at least another yard of concrete. Great. Signed binding contact. He headed the new driveway exactly like the old one. When questioned about it he said I dont know the law. It was illegal for him to grade it that way. Lie#1. He also said I would get a discount if I paid in cash. I paid in full. Well that backfired. He reneged on his promise to come back and clean up the rubble 2-3 yards, not once, but three times. Now I have a driveway I cant use, and a pile of junk in my front yard. No I would not recommend this company for any exterior work, in California or any other state.

Both Ken and Heidi are professional and responsive. They respond to all communication. The estimate was fair and I will write another review when the work is complete.

Scheduling was difficult, they are not very organized or have a good process to calendar projects. The work they did looks great and they were very fast, but they left a lot of garbage lying around. They also underestimated and came back asking for more after we had agreed on a price and signed off.

Fast, Affordable, and good people. I couldn't be more pleased with the speed and results. True experts!

They were there when they said they would be. They were very fast and neat in their work. The work was excellent. The result was exactly what we wanted.

California exteriors Inc. have a done concrete work for me. They gave me a quote and completed pretty well. Continuous on answering my calls and following up with me. Worked on a narrow walkway for patio in the back. After work was done they removed all the debris and cleaned up after themselves. Was difficult to go through the narrow walkway but they accomplished it. Mark Dunckelman was who I worked with directly and he was very prompt with his work.

Signed contract October 13, 2020. The project was finished on Dec. 11, 2020. Every person I dealt with at the company was friendly and professional. The workers were skilled and efficient, and hard workers. Very impressive. The concrete slab looks like a piece of art. My only small complaint is that it took two months to get to my project. But I had a *minimum* size job at 100 square feet, so I guess it was difficult to schedule mine along with other jobs needed to make it profitable to schedule a full concrete truck. Overall a great company to deal with, and very happy with the results.

This company is easy to work with.We are very pleased with the driveway they put in for our motor home,I would recommend them to anyone that needed cement work done.

California Exteriors did an EXCELLENT job from start to finish on a stamped and colored concrete patio project at my home. Ken Johnson is VERY knowledgeable about all aspects of the project. He had excellent ideas about what should and what should not be done. I am very glad I listened to him as he outlined how the project would take shape if he got the job. His honesty was much appreciated . All the workers, from the demo crew, to the pour crew, to the concrete sealer did outstanding work. The price was good and Ken was always a straight shooter throughout. He communIcated well, and was true to his word. DefInitely the type of person I want to do business with. I give Ken Johnson and his company, California Exteriors my highest and best recommendation. You will not be sorry if you hire them.

Great communication, great guidance, and great work! Mark Dunckelmann returned our calls promptly, guided us through color and style selections, and kept me posted on when I could expect the work to be done. They had to schedule around California wildfires, dangerously unhealthy air, and temperatures near 100+ degrees. When they could work safely, they poured the concrete and applied sealant. Their work passed our coop's inspection without any issues. We love our courtyard and so do our neighbors. Thank you CA Exteriors and Mark for being friendly, efficient, and doing excellent work!

Be sure to get everything in writing, but the workman did a great job.
