Mark (the mgr) went on how they're a unique type of rose & he doesn't like them but a few people request. Goes ON & ON (ad nauseum) about how they're an antique breed of rose. He's not cooperative. After this DIATRIBE re - this type of rose & ALL of its attributes, I requested the name of this variety of rose so that in the future I could check to see if that's all they had & make a different choice of arrangement in the future - problem solved & I was still willing to use them. That's when I learn HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE VARIETY IS! He's been blowing floral smoke up my, ah-hem, "chimney" the whole time. He clearly doesn't want to refund our money & I said I'm not looking for something I didn't pay for, but these are junk. The only way he'll refund the $ is if he sends out a driver to pick up the roses. Fine by me. Note to you all-somebody paid full price for those crappy roses, no doubt or he would not have picked them up. Bad business choice & lost a long time customer. Sad.
Description of Work: $75.00 roses with a $10.00 delivery fee that had no business leaving any professional florist shop. Roses were green, brown & folded/wrinkled & greenery had areas of brow that appeared to be cut out - please see photos - I'm not exaggerating. They looked aweful. 1st - my sweet husband is predictable. He got in the proverbial doghouse & sent roses. That's nice, I thought. After I sign for them, I bring them into the kitchen & see they look terrible & appear to have been spayed with some sort of hardening agent to make them stand up. There was only one that had a center that had rose red color & not the darker blood red of a dying rose & they are hard as rocks - stems & bulbs. Entire bouquet worse than supermarket quality. So... Husband might be in doghouse but I'm still not going to allow him to get ripped off by the florist. We've been loyal customers of Becky's for over 13 years & I've never once called them - most of the flowers went to other people - I hope they were ok! Yikes!
