My experience with them went very well.  The owner, Rick came to see what we needed and gave us an estimate.  He put in two different railings and we had a little patio where we wanted to put decorative ironwork of 4 feet tall and seven feet in length.  He said his workers would come in a couple of days and they did.  They informed us when they were here and told us what they were going to do and what we had agreed to.  They started working, they had their own generator and did not use our electricity.  It took them about maybe three hours to do it but the decorative piece was already built, they just had to bring it in and install it.  They cleaned everything up and gave us instructions as to when we could use the two railings.  The next day, Rick came back again to check on the work and made sure that we were satisfied with the work.  They were not sure what color we wanted, if we wanted black or brown and so they sprayed one of the railings with chocolate brown color and volunteered to spray paint the rest of it, if we liked it.  They were very nice.  We were very satisfied.  They were very clean and they worked the whole time they were here.  The price was good.  They came prepared, they didn’t have to borrow any tools, and they even had their own electricity.

Rick Gomez, the owner, came highly recommended, by a high end quality landscape designer. After meeting him, it was obvious that he was detailed, took pride in quality work and the was interested in the aesthetic outcome of his projects. I was convinced that the quality of his work was reliable, given all of the technical due diligence I had performed. His estimate at first seemed high, but was appropriate for the attention to detail and quality expected of his work and also that he is licensed. He spent quite a bit of time discussing the project, his work, chatted a lot and we established excellent rapport. He stopped by twice, the second time, on his own behest to refresh his memory. In the end, I went with a pre-fabb?d aluminum product, so did not hire him. However, contacted him later for a custom ornamental railing project for which he would have been perfect. Shockingly, he was abruptly rude, dismissive and agitated that I had chosen a different product for the hillside project and annoyed that he had spent so much time. He was arrogant and indicated that he had no further interest. He gets a D rating for his lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and inability to keep his emotions in check. Sadly, it could have been a solid A rating with money in his pocket, had he not thrown away his earlier investment in nurturing a relationship.

Two visits to refine the initial concept to meet needs in design, function, and price. Rick Gomez provided suggestions which were especially helpful to ensure design was consistent with house style, and to keep the costs in line with my budget. Very pleased with the workmanship.

Had to call twice as no call back first time. Waited about a month and called a 2nd time and sent an email. Received call back within 2 days and set-up appt. Didn't show for appt and called 30 min later to say he was sorry he missed appt and could we schedule for later. Said I was available later in afternoon. He was not available. He asked to come following day but I could not make it. He then said I should find someone else who would not miss appts....so that's what I'm going to do!

I was very happy with his services. He had two guys do the work. It was quality work. I thought that his price was reasonable. We had no problems with him at all.

Although we did not use Rick, because we decided to use a contractor who self performed all of the tasks that we needed, rather than having to serve as our own general contractor and identify all the subs, we were tremendously impressed with both Rick's responsiveness and the quality of the example that he provided us. He was a little more expensive than the other estimate that we got, but it was reflected in the quality of his work. Had we not decided to go with a single contractor for our entire project, we would very likely have used Rick for the fencing work.

They never even called me back after I left a message. I had a bad experience with another company and decided not to try them back again.

AZTECA DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON MY SPRIRE TOPS. THEY ASSISTED ME IN SELECTING JUST THE RIGHT DESIGN TO COMPLIMENT MY FENCE AND CAME OUT TO MAKE THE INSTALLATION QUICKLY. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT.
