We needed septic tank service/evaluation on a new property that we just moved into and was having major plumbing issues with. We were told by another plumber that we had a full septic tank the day after Thanksgiving and we were scrambling to find a provider the Saturday after Thanksgiving to come flush the tank. I called about 20 septic tank/plumbing companies and very few responded. They were not able to find us on their records to see whether we had been serviced by them in the past and ultimately were not able to find a septic tank, but they attempted and charged us for it (plus coming out)...thus the B rating, but it was fair. The C on professionalism was for all the swearing and use of foul language, but it was directed at the situation and not at me; however, not great behavior. (Side note: we found later in county records that Paul Roberts was actually the company that connected the property to the city sewer main. Would have been nice for them to have been able to tell us that without all the extra work, $$, and lack of plumbing we had to deal with over a holiday weekend)

He doesn't give any warranty and didn't seem to pump it all out. It had been less than 30 days and he was trying to charge the full amount again to come back out and fix it.

As usual, scheduling was as easy as a phone call. They came the next day. They were, as always, polite on the phone and in person. They arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. (Occasionally, in the past, they have run late for some reason, and they have called to let us know.) Based on our prior experience with other companies, their price is reasonable. We have learned to provide some cardboard for them to place under the pump, because we have discovered that with most of these companies, the pump leaks a little bit of oil.

I set an appointment on the 8th... In a senoir moment , I called and cancelled the appointment in error.. When they did not show in early AM, I called and figured out that I screwed up.. They were very undestanding and scheduled me for the next truck... about an hour later the pump truck arrived.. The drive (great guy), checked out my damaged riser, called the office, arrainged for a support crew the make the repair.... no up sell ..!!. no "have to replace the whole system"..!!!. The repair crew fixed the riser and the pumper completed the job... EVERYTHING was cleaned up, debris removed... outstanding job... could not be happier with the pumper drive( sorry I forgot his name) and the 2 repairmen.. I am in the construction as a State of Calif. Building inspecrtor. I watched the project, expectiong the same old song and dance from the contractor... To my suprise there was none..

Took several calls to talk to them: when I called I'd get an answering machine, and then I'd be busy when they would call back. When we did speak and agree upon a service date, they called the morning of the service to ask if they could come early. They were finished by the time I arrived back home, so I have no way of knowing if they even performed the work!

They did a good job overall.

CAME OUT AT THE DESIGNATED TIME SCHEDULED. COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE REGARDING SYSTEM. GOOD QUALITY WORK AND PROMPT WITH SCHEDULING SOMEONE TO COME OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
