Quality of work was good, the workers were very efficient and the gates were installed thoroughly. I was pleased with the final product and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I called the company on 11-3-15 and Mr. Cortez came to my home on 1-4-15 and gave me the cost of each item he would do to fix my gate.  He sent his employees later that day to fixed the gate. Everything went great.  His employee took their time to get the work done right.  After they finished the repair, they touched up the gate with paint.  Great job.  I highly recommend this company.

After reading the reviews here, I was confident that JRC would be good --- but a little worried about the 'C' review that seemed to focus a bit too much on the age of the estimator.  It turns out I was right -- there was nothing to worry about.  JRC was great from start to finish, always prompt and professional.  The only knock (and it is not actually a knock) is that the person who did the estimate is young.  Still, not sure that counts as a negative.

Across the board, JRC was great.  This was no easy install.  This was 300 feet across the top of a very highly sloped hillside.  Also, they had to wait about 6 months after the estimate for me to get the correct City permits (if you are in Glendale, it is illegal to put a front-facing fence inside the 15 foot setback without a variance and a building permit).  They waited, did not push, and when the time came jumped on the job immediately and finished it within a week.

The finished product looks great.  As with any large project, there were minor issues to address upon completion.  JRC did the few repairs, modifications, extras at my request and seemed happy to do so.  I was very happy with their attention to my needs.

I will also say that JRC was the best price of the fence companies I contacted.  I tend to select 3 or 4 highly rated companies (i.e., the best rated on AL), and then -- with quality fixed -- pick the best price.  That's what I did with JRC and they had the best price and great quality (the fence does have some rust spots from missed paint where attaching the spikes, but nothing serious and JRC has said they would take care of it).

I highly recommend them.

After interviewing 4-5 iron contractors this company had a fair price and quality product. They have there own shop you can go to and when there was an issue at install, they fixed it.
They did the job, fixed any mistakes and make sure I was happy.

From the start, I should have been worried. The young kid who came to take measurements and give us an estimate drove up in front of our house in a nice sports car with the sound system blaring extremely loud! Anyway, he gave us an estimate and sold us powder coating instead of paint, stating that it was much better than paint and that it wouldn't rust or chip, etc. but it cost an extra $300.00! We agreed to the price, thinking that it would be zero maintenance. For some reason, he came back again to measure and guess what? When the workers came to install the gate, they had to cut off almost two feet of fence, because the kid measured wrong! The gate and fence looked pretty good at first glance, but upon further inspection, they're were some minor flaws, such as small gaps in the welding, and the quality of the construction wasn't great. Fast forward four months or so, and the gate starts rusting at the welds and chipping at the sliding handle and lock. So I called the company and they said that it was impossible for the power coating to get in every nook and cranny and they could come out and touch up the rust spots with paint. I was dissapointed with this and told them so, but they said there was nothing else they could do so I said to forget it, that I could touch it up myself.

We had a few bumps, but we are very happy with the end result. They are very responsive so it all worked out well.
