I called Redwood Lock at 830am on Monday morning and they were at my house by 930am.  The gentlemen I spoke to on the phone was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and talked to me about several different options for the issue I was having with my deadbolt, with the intent of finding me the least expensive solution.  He also gave me accurate pricing information over the phone based on several different options to provide a sense of what my total expense might be.  
Kevin came to the house to do the work and was also extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable.  He also discussed my options with me and reminded me of additional doors that may need to be re-keyed which I had forgotten about.    He charged for the service call and rekeying/key copies but did not charge extra for re-aligning the deadbolt or lubricating the parts that needed it.  
He was done in less than an hour.
I would absolutely call Redwood Lock again.  I also asked about after hours services and was told that the main number is answered 24 hours/day.

They were great. They gave us about two hours of service for half hour work and labor. They didn't give up. They tried everything before they actually had to break the locks. They were good and for the service I got the price was a very good bargain. They went on the internet trying to find things to make it work for us. They made room for us yet we had no appointment. They are not a company that keeps somebody on site because they are out in the field a lot. But there was a fellow on site and he helped us while he still maintained the office.

Kevin arrived on time and was very efficient and thorough in completing the work. The only issue that came up was at the end when he presented the bill for work. Prior to him beginning the work, we asked him about costs he was a little vague using words like "charges for his time" and "trip charge" versus actual costs. When the bill was presented, there was a $90 trip charge. Asked why the trip charge was so high, he responded that anything outside of the town of his business was an extra $45. Apparently driving the 14 miles to our home rated an upcharge. No one ever stated that anything regarding this when the appointment was set up or before the bill was presented. We chose this company because they were on Angie's List. If anyone else decides to use this company, make sure to get everything agreed to up front. I got the sense we were charged more because of the area we have moved to.

I needed a door key, ( I lost it during a remodel). I also had a door that didn't lock, the lock no longer went into the striker plate. I called and explained what I needed. They told me that the key would be no problem, but could make no guarantees on the door where the lock didn't fit the striker plate. We agreed that he'd take a look. I rec'd a detailed estimate for everything that needed to be done. Anyway, they called before they came (as agreed) did the work, all of it, the gentlemen that did the work was neat, professional and friendly. I would absolutely use them again.

They did a really good job. We had inherited some bookcases that were locked but had no keys. We needed keys and also get the bookcases unlocked, so we took part of the unit to their store and they replaced the locks with ease. It was very affordable. The guy who was there seemed to be incredibly knowledgeable about locks.
