Chuck is extremely professional and is able to tackle just about any job. He clearly has a wide range of skills and is excellent at figuring out how to solve problems. Chuck is very conscientious, and I appreciate his attention to detail. I was impressed with the quality of Chuck's work and would hire him again without question.

Excellent- every morning Chuck checks in and reviews his plan for the day's work, then checks back before he leaves. Worksite was tidy each day. We only used subcontractor for glass shower walls, custom vanity and granite countertop. Chuck will contract and supervise these if you wish however in our case we contracted with all three ourselves without issues

After a few guys came over and gave their prices, we decided on Chuck because he had the most professional and friendly manner of them all. He did a fantastic job, arriving on time and cheerfully tackling even the most challenging parts of our little projects. He was also willing to negotiate, making his top-quality services very affordable for us. We would recommend him to anyone!

This is the second project we've had Majestic Builders do for us.  The first (a downstairs bathroom, four years ago) went so well that we looked forward to working with Chuck again. Here's why:

He is very responsive: He's easy to reach by phone, text, and email. 

He is honest: He does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it.

He is knowledgeable: He clearly knows construction, plumbing, and electrical and the product options available in each area, with recommendations for where to find the best sources, both in stores or online. We always feel his suggestions have our best interests in mind. 

He's straightforward: The information he provides in the planning stage is clear and easy to keep track off throughout the project: he lists each step that will need to be completed, what tasks and product will be required, and makes a good estimate of what it will cost. Both our projects have ended up very close to what he estimated, with variation primarily due to changes in our preferences as the work unfolded. 

He has high standards: He clearly cares about what he creates and fixes and the outcome reflects that -- he wants everything to work smoothly and look good.

He works efficiently: Because he knows what needs to be done, he is able to organize tasks in the best order to get the entire project done as quickly as possible.  He works with an assistant who helps keep things moving along by taking care of specific tasks and helping Chuck work on the bigger things.

He keeps the work area as clean as possible given that construction is going on. 

He's a nice guy -- friendly, good natured, and patient, even with homeowners anxious about changes happening in their homes!

I give Chuck A+++ for his work. He always on time, professional, hard working, gives great suggestions, and did beautiful quality work. My husband and I love our bathrooms and would highly recommend Chuck.

It is not possible to overstate how well this project went, start to finish, and how professional, skilled and personable Chuck and his staff were every step of the way.  
Chuck stayed in touch during the planning, provided helpful information regarding appliances (I needed to purchase 2) and such details as under cabinet lighting choices (also new addition to kitchen).  The project itself, from demolition to final hardware installation, proceeded precisely as outlined.  His written proposal was complete and detailed, and updated in writing as well, with clear explanations.  (It turned out,  e.g., that the kitchen already had a dedicated electrical line for a dishwasher, which I didn't know, so cost of this installation was deleted.  Every addition or deletion was clear and noted in writing.)
His work and that of the staff he supervised on site was precise, detail-oriented and clearly skilled.  There were delays and changes necessitated by big-box store errors, etc., which Chuck took in stride, and worked with these changes and delays patiently, keeping in touch throughout.  He was very helpful in keeping track of what needed correction, and following up with me as it proceeded.  He was also responsive and patient with questions and design change requests I made along the way.  He made every effort to accommodate my schedule as well, and went the extra mile (or ten) given all these delays not of his doing, to achieve final completion of the project after hours one last weekend.  A superb experience in every way.  
It was a pleasure to work with Chuck and all his staff at Majestic Builders.  His work and work ethic are exemplary, unmatched.  I recommend him to everyone I know in need of contracting services.

The work product of Chuck Hinaman who is Majestic Builders is as close to perfection as anyone in the trade can be.  In 1997 he added a second story onto our house: every detail was taken care of and he never had to be called back for any follow up work.  His work ethic and consideration cannot be spoken of highly enough.  If he was a preacher, he would be the Pope.

This year we were looking for someone to replace our bathroom floor and since I had retired since 1997, I thought Chuck was probably retired as well and turned to Angie's List for a recommendation.  Who did I find but Majestic Builders still working.  Without hesitation, we contacted Chuck and told him we wanted him to do our floor and we were not interested in getting other bids.  He came by and completed his detailed bid and fit us into his schedule.  The floor was completed very quickly and is as solid as a rock.  We intend to use Chuck's services in the future until he decides to retire himself.

I could go into detail about the job he did on our bathroom floor as well as the second story he built by himself, but we have been living with the work he did for over 15 years and we are as happy now as we were when he finished our addition.  What more can anyone say about another person's work.  If you want quality work, a trustworthy businessman, and, one who considers details to be of utmost importance give Majestic Builders a call.  (No, I am not related to Chuck or his family - just a very satisfied customer).

Hinaman of Majestic Builders who remodeled my kitchen to perfection. His bid
was fair and even with other bids I received, but the ideas he brought to my
basic plan, the practical suggestions he offered, and his overall aesthetic
sensibilities, ie he has good taste, combined with the fact that he is pleasant
and easy going convinced me to go with him. He provided me with a detailed
spreadsheet of all the costs and most extraordinary, he kept to his hid bid to
the very end.  No added padding.  But best of all is his expert workmanship
from the construction of the cabinets, (he is one of a very few who has the
experience and was willing to work with putting IKEA cabinets together) to the
finish carpentry. I had a kitchen remodel in another home I owned and had to
put up with the contractor running several jobs at once, leaving his assistant
to do important work, like tile countertops. Not with Chuck. He does all the
work himself. His assistant is just that, someone who assists him. His long
experience at doing remodels shows in both the quality of his work and his
anefficient use of time.

We bought a house in Santa Rosa for our retirement. We live and work in Fresno.There were a number of changes we wanted to make before we move in. We were very worried about working with a contractor 240 miles away.  We were very lucky to have Chuck on our list of potential contractors. His quotation for the original project, renovating and upgrading the master bathroom, was presented on a very professional spreadsheet. After meeting with him, we had no hesitation in accepting his quote. Chuck constantly upgraded his spreadsheets so that we were constantly aware of the costs we were incurring. He was very responsive to emails and rarely let more than a few hours go by without getting in touch.
We quickly found that Chuck was a reliable, skilled contractor who took pride in his work. He was very flexible and, as we dithered about some changes, he took them in his stride. He also made suggestions in a way that did not give offense and allowed us to accept or change them without hurt feelings. We had contracted a painter to paint the exterior of the house who did a great job. We also wanted to paint the house inside. Chuck offered a quote but made it clear that he would not be hurt if we awarded the contract to someone whose primary expertise was painting as they were often able to price projects more competitively. The painter won the contract, but Chuck worked very amicably with him and they helped each other out when needed. 
You will have to go a long, long way if you want a contractor with the expertise, care, honesty and integrity who moves projects to
completion by deadline and at a reasonable cost. Moreover he is very personable and very easy to work with. Chuck is a jewel!

Everything went very smoothly according to quoted price and schedule.  Chuck is extremely responsive to requests and questions.  We will be using him in the future for additional projects.

This was a relatively small project, but a significant investment for us.  Chuck made the process as painless as possible.  He listened carefully to our goals and explained different options for meeting them.  He was available for guidance as we selected materials and he picked up, stored, and delivered everything we purchased.  The amount of time required for the project was almost exactly what he estimated.  His cost estimate was also very accurate because he uses an Excel spreadsheet that makes it possible for both him and us to track exactly what everything will cost.  We felt that, although he makes his livelihood through providing these services, he was on our "side' in creating the result we desired at a cost we could afford.  He and his assistant were pleasant to have in the house for the days they worked here, cleaned up at the end of each work day, and left the work area spotless when the project was completed.

Chuck is the best contractor experience I've ever had.  
Unlike the other contractors, he wrote out everything that we wanted done, gave us an estimate on how long it'd take and how much it would cost.  While I was still showing him what we needed done, he fixed one item and told us how to do another ourselves. Amazing!  
While I had to wait 6 weeks for him to be available, he was worth it.  He comes when he says he will, brings the right materials and tools, stays calm amid chaos, and does high quality work.  He even remembers do to things that we forgot we asked for.  
Once I save up a few bucks, I'll have him back to work on my kitchen and bathrooms!

Chuck was very efficient and a pleasure to work with. He shopped for different door options for me and explained his work very well.

While he was doing the work, he noticed that the front door lock was not operating correctly and repaired that at no charge. He left everything as clean or cleaner than he found it. We found him to be pleasant, efficient and reliable. We will definitely call him again.

The water damage was tremendous in my unit with 2 inches of water on my kitchen floor that had leaked through the ceiling from the second floor toilet. Other estimates were very high compared to Majestic Builders bid. He had to open up the ceiling and replace all drywall on the ceiling above my kitchen as well as air-dry the place out. He also had to replace the kitchen cabinets, the kitchen flooring, and remodeled two of my bathrooms in my complex. He replaced my floor with a nice laminate. He was able to save me dollars by painting my bathroom cabinets. Chuck is always very friendly, communicates well and did a top-notch job with the mess he had to clean up.I have used Majestic Builders previous to this particular situation and since.
If you need an honest, trustworthy remodeling contractor to be in your home hire Majestic Builders! Chuck has done several projects for me in my home for over 11 years. He works with me to cut costs if I am willing to do some of the work myself. He does only quality work and keeps everything clean and protected as he works. He has knowledge of all phases of the project and has become ?mymajesticbuilder? that I can trust with the keys to my home. The work Majestic Builders has done recently,  since the water damage, has been on my back patio, building a dog area and fence with a nice gate. If I have any plumbing, electrical, etc., Chuck does it all.
