FRESH COAT PAINTING

I would have saved a lot of money if I'd just hired the local kindergarten class, and would have gotten the same results (maybe better). When Mr. Deem gave me his estimate, he said he'd clean and prep the walls before painting, and do a professional, high quality job. It took him less than two days to paint, and you can tell. He left huge streaks where he painted one coat and then did a couple swipes for a second coat. He completely missed many areas, and left huge drips in other areas. He used no tape whatsoever, so ended up painting half of the kitchen hardware. He did not clean or prep, so a few months after the job the paint started peeling in the kitchen. At the end of the job, he tried to make off with some of the paint that I'd purchased. (He said he'd get rid of the empty paint cans, then told his son to take the cans in the corner to his truck. His son said "but dad these two cans are heavy". He told his son to shut up and quickly put the cans in his truck. Unbelievable.)
