Communication was very good. Paul's wife, Kim, kept us up to date on his schedule through phone calls and emails. Paul provided us with numbers of the products he recommended so we could see them online, or at the store. Paul worked with us to make sure that the project was turning out like we had in mind, and listened to our ideas. He arrived when he said he would every day, and he finished in the time frame he gave us. There were no surprises budget-wise - he kept to his original estimate except for the dry rot work, which couldn't be anticipated. He was neat and kept the mess to a minimum.
