16 years ago Petkus Brothers put a beautiful sunroom addition on our house and a cover over our patio in Roseville. The craftsmanship of the sunroom and the installation have stood the test of time. We've had no problems with it and it looks just as good today as it did the day they installed it. The installers were professional, explained each step over the days it took to erect it and cleaned up everyday - no loose screws or scrap metal laying around. Recently we had them put a cover over our driveway to protect our vehicles. Again, installers were focused, explained the process and cleaned up all the mess the three days it took to install it. This project was a large tear down of a previous wood awning and then replaced with an equally large metal solid awning with ceiling fan. Petkus Brothers designed and built a sunroom within the footprint of our lower deck. They weather proofed the upper deck with a â walk on roofâ then enclosed the lower deck into a wonderful sunroom with screened windows, electrical wiring, ceiling fan, and matching hardwood floors. Bottom line - great project results! The patio cover product is well designed, well-installed and adds a tremendous amount of aesthetic appeal and added comfort to our home. We are very happy! From Kevin's initial engagement through to the installation - everything went very smooth. This included the interactions with our Homeowner's Association and their stringent guidelines. When we started this venture, we planned on a simple latticed, open patio cover as we had never considered the option of a completely covered patio cover. We were worried about cost and light inside the house. Kevin initiated the idea and assuaged any concerns and did a very good job of selling us on the idea. We are very happy we went with the full covered patio as we will get far more use out of our backyard and the investment. Due to the height, the color of the structure and our position, we did not lose any inside view or light and the cost was not that much more. The install crew were very polite and clean. They diligently communicated every detail of the project with us and made sure we completely understood that what we were purchasing was exactly what we had envisioned. Our home improvement project included adding a patio cover and fixing our second floor kid's bathroom (leaking tub basin). Instead of having to hire two separate contractors, one for each project, we were able to hire Petkus Brothers to perform both improvements. The patio cover was affordable and well made/assembled. The bathroom fix became a remodel, and it turned out looking awesome. My wife and I were so pleased that we decided to use Petkus Brothers to remodel our kitchen. Needless to say, Petkus did not disappoint as our kitchen looks sooooo much better. Kevin Petkus has been open, honest, upfront and very helpful with accommodating all of our changes through the projects. Petkus did an awesome job in building my sunroom but this firm has many flaws. I actually wanted to give 1 Star but then cannot discredit the workmanship of people that put it together. 1. Salesmanship is awesome and Mark did an awesome job. He is very detailed which was missing from all the other companies. One thing everyone should note to put everything Mark says in the contract. Petkus is yet to follow thru in his promises. 2. Horrendous customer service. They finished my room in March and till date after 7 PHONE CALLS they have not followed up in cleaning up their mess (cleaning my yard with the materials, broken cement, broken sprinkler heads and sunroom door issues to name the few) If you are taking a loan then DO NOT pay them in advance. Kevin Petkus, one of the owner might sweet talk into it but please do no fall for his explanation. I did and that is why they are now IGNORING ME TO FINISH UP my work.

The Petkus Brothers recently installed a Patio Room, complete with electrical service and a heat pump, on a new concrete pad adjacent to our living room. Intended primarily as a room for our several cats (a Catio room, if you like), this new space has given us enormous flexibility, both in planning extensive renovations to the rest of the house and in simply enjoying our back yard more. The cats seem to like it, too! Throughout the planning, contracting and execution of the Patio Room, consultant Buzzy Landis and owners Keith and Kevin Petkus kept us informed and involved. They kept strictly to the proposed budget, and their staff and subcontractors performed all their work timely and professionally. The results are terrific! We couldn t be happier with our new Catio Room, and we ve already engaged the Petkus Brothers to tackle our other renovation projects. We would recommend - indeed, we already have - the Petkus Brothers for any of your renovation projects.

Work was done professionally, and in a timely manner. They listened to what I wanted done & it looked great.

Although contract signed and large deposit made no work to start until 10/1. Retained large 44% deposit for 3 months before work started. Bad communications, times set to start work usually did not materialize and waited all day with no action. Had to contact company to determine what was going on, although they knew but did not make the info available.
