Aand B European Motors is a really good place. I think they are a pretty new business but they are very reasonable. Even though they specialize in Mercedes Benz they were willing to do the Honda. In fact what they told me was that the 60,000 mile check on the Honda is really just a look-see, all there is to do is to replace the air filter and the cabin filter and do an oil change. I told them that my wife just had an old change so they told me not to bring it in until your due for an oil change so we can do the rest. I thought that was pretty good. The others told me to get the Honda in and the dealer quoted me $600 to do that. First of all they definitely know Mercedes Benz's. They were very knowledgeable about the car. I was driving home and the check engine light came on and normally I drive to another place where I've got all the service done for my Mercedes Benz. I'd seen an ad for them before and I thought I am going to try them. I'd seen the flyer about how they were a lot cheaper than the dealer and how they were Mercedes trained technicians so I decided as that was on my way home. I went and I checked them out and they hooked it up to the diagnostic hardware. It turned out that they were both former technicians for Mercedes Benz in Sacramento. They knew the car very well and the diagnosis said that I have a faulty crankshaft sensor which was about a $300 job. They called for the replacement parts and they said that they could get it. They explained to me that it was pretty normal for a Mercedes Benz, that's typically what goes out and I double checked online for the different forms of Mercedes Benz and it turned out that it was a common thing. So they fixed it and not only that, they asked if I had an extended Silver Star warranty and I told them that I did not and I got it from the bank who I had the car financed through. They actually did all the calling and they told me that it was a great company and plan that I had and all I had to pay was the deductible. They dealt with the insurance company for me and it was great. You take your car to a dealer and they want to do all kind of things and you kind of feel whether you really need it? They kind of "awfulize". They would say that my wheels are going to fall off my car. There was no high pressure here; it's like this is what you need and this is how we are going to fix it and before making the commitment let me check the part and see if we can get the part. Once they got the part they said that it will be done the next day. I brought it when they opened and it was done in 2 hours. I would have had to wait all day for it at the dealer. I broke a fog light lens and the part was $30 and the labor to install it was $300.
