Right from the beginning Dan trimmed what he considered needed trimming in the way he said it should be accomplished. Everything was done at breakneck pace without careful attention to detail. By this I mean there were dead branches of plants which remained that way during the two weeks he attended to my yard. And when I spoke to him this morning about my expectations of slowing down his pace and attending to the details, even when that meant he would not accomplished everything he expected to over time, he abruptly said he was finished, asked how much I would pay him for the two weeks work, and walked away.
Sure Cut at the hands of Dan Najera did not meet my standards for professional landscape care, not on any level. Dan was always mentioning the how he wasn't being paid what he expected while really not living up to his original agreement. Actions not words is what I expected and did not receive. Take heed.
"Some customers you will never make happy. Quoting Mr. [Member name] at our initial meeting, "I want my yard maintenance if God himself did it." Well, I'm not God and I'm not perfect. The third week showing up to care for Mr. [Member name]'s lawn, he showed me this 1" piece of branch I left in his planter after hand trimming a bush the previous week. I thought he was joking. However the guy was really upset claiming he could see this stick looking out his window. This job was going to pose future problems. Thought it would be best to cut ties that day. He paid me fairly for the work completed, so I must have done something right. Then he threatened to post bad reviews for cancelling his service. What was I suppose to do? Continue servicing his property and beg him not to post bad reviews. I have provided lawn care and full landscaping for over 22 years. 25% of my customers have been loyal customers since before I took over the company back in 1993. I'm sorry Mr. [Member name] was not satisfied with my work. That makes a total of 3-Customer complaints over the course of 22+ years. Can't win them all!"
