"I am very sorry Member was not happy with her countertops. When I first restored them in Jan. 2012, I explained they were Carrera Marble-very delicate and soft. I removed all the stains, honed and sealed the counters. I explained they needed protection after completion, and she should use glass cutting boards and place mats for the children. Any acid (such as lemon, vinegar, etc.) that comes into contact with the marble will break the seal and the stains would return. She said that she would not do that because of her grandchildren. She did not want to inhibit their visiting her home. She called again, due to additional staining after the job was completed. Because she was a personal friend, and even though she had not complied with my protective suggestions, I sent out a crew to work on the additional stains, gave her Intercare-our marble cleaner, at no cost, and asked her again to protect her marble. I basically redid the original job at no cost to her. Almost 6 months had elapsed, I have received no calls regarding additional complaints. July 1 Member sent in a complaint to Angie's list. It is our policy to Service our customers and fulfill their expectations, but we must be informed of any service required."
