J&J Landscaping are wonderful. They not only do basic yard work and major clean up (they tackled a huge church property after a year of neglect) but will trim trees, fix fencing AND come out to repair irrigation leaks and problems. They have shown up at our home first thing on a Sunday morning and dug deep to find broken pipes, not just once, but whenever we’ve asked. Always knowledgeable, always low priced, always loyal, always kind, always competent. Feels like your family with a green thumb has dropped by to give you a hand!

Landscaping: plants, shrubs, ground cover plants, trees(5), drains, patio slab & sidewalks, faucets(2), & bark. Also a garden wall was part of the landscaping. I highly recommend this company. LG,Jr.

took the day off work and they never showed up and they did it again and they wouldn't return my calls a week later they showed up half of the work they did I'm having to redo it myself it was so bad, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I paid over $1,000 and what should have been around $300 I still have broken sprinklers I'm replacing and half of the issues they never even addressed, it was so bad I just paid them so they would leave and not come back

worst worst experience I've ever had with any contractor ever wouldn't show up for days wouldn't return my calls paid way way too much and have all the work they did I've had to read n half of it myself the level of skill was right about third grade

This group of people are excellent and fair priced. We have hired them twice to do irrigation installation in 2 parts of our property. Each time the price was right and they installed a system that has made our grass green in all spots, no dead spots. Will continue to hire them as we have projects for them.

Norma resodded both front and back yards. She treated for grubs prior to resodding (something that a previous company didn't do). She guarantees her work for 3 months and was receptive to texting. I really like Norma - she knows her stuff and worked with us.

The job was fantastic! It was a big job, they had many people working on it, and it was done on time. All of the sprinklers work perfectly and now we just need to hire her again to turn the soil, add some topsoil, and plant seed. Her prices are very reasonable. I have referred her to other people already, and even placed their sign on my front fence (which is something I almost never do).

She should be sending me up to date photos of my property after work done, and she is not. She knows this is our agreement.

Norma and the guys were great. They showed up on time for the initial estimate and after my wife and I explained what we wanted, Norma began taking notes and measuring. After about 15 minutes, she came back to us with a quote - which was very fair. We agreed and they began work on the day we requested. The sod was backordered and Norma contacted me right away and told me they completion date would be changed because of this. Once the sod came in, she and her team showed up early in the morning and finished the last remaining things in one day! Great job. Can't wait to see what they do for monthly landscaping!

Was done in a timely fashion. Professional. Offered insight/feedback when selecting and planting plants.

Like all recent reviewers, I've used Norma for a few years.  She was great until the last month.  She was a no show, and proceeded to tell my tenant that she has to stop coming because it was difficult to collect payment and I don't respond to her calls!  Of course that is untrue, and she has not responded to MY calls in the last week.

So disappointed to write this review and see her A grade go down...

Bi-weekly yard work for a very small yard.

I have delayed writing this review because Norma was the best gardner I have had in 25 years.  After I paid her for the August service I told her to take the next Saturday off  (her usual service day) because I was having new entry steps constructed.  She agreed but suggested to come the following Monday  and then again the next Saturday so she wouldn't get too far behind. That did not happen.  After three weeks I did not see or hear from her.  My many phone calls and emails went unanswered.  I thuoght she had some family tragedy so I checked back with Angie's List to find some of her customers complained about "no show/ no call" also.   Suggestions were made that she took on bigger and better jobs and left her old customers "high and dry". I am so very disappointed.

Do not use these people if you have any problems after you pay them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They did a good job with the installation of the lawn and the sprinkler repair. They did put some grass that did not look so great and I was told it will be fine. After a few weeks the few patches of grass looked dead and would not green or grow. I was told by them that they would come and replace it. So I have been trying for a month now to have them come and all I hear is that they will show and they never do. I don't get a call or a message that they cannot make it. I guess once they have you're money they can care less about you. If his is how they do business in surprised they are still in business. I will never use them again ever.

At first things seemed fine.  Slowly the service eroded.  They wouldn't show up some weeks and when I'd ask, they would either have excuses or pretend they didn't know.  My garden lighting has been broken, drains missing, grass is turning brown in areas and I've repeatedly asked them to fix these issues.  I've even sent detailed emails letting them know I'm not happy with certain levels of service and they would reply that they would fix it and nothing happens.  Norma seems nice and talks the talk, but they don't walk the walk.  The worst thing is that they turned off part of my lawn and killed two trees.  I didn't notice it for weeks but once I realized it and asked them why they would do that, they said they never touched the system.  They are the ONLY one's that touched the system!  And now it's been 3 weeks and they haven't shown up or called.  Time to find someone that cares and is competent.

This is a review I never really thought I would have to write and am very sorry I feel it necessary.  Norma has done our yard work for several years and until recently we had been quite satisfied.  However, in the last 4 to 5 months things seem to have gone "downhill".  I see from other reviews that the same thing has happened to other users and it is quite disheartening.  Norma has a good work ethic, but since she is so concerned with "growing her business" she seems to be forgetting those clients that have supported her in the past to cater to "big" re-landscaping jobs brought about by the drought situation.  When Norma accompanies her people, an excellent job is still done because she see to it.  However, she no longer comes most of the time and relies on others to "do the job".  She always was so proud of the fact that her group was not a "blow and go" outfit.  They're not when she's wirh them, but when she's not??????????????.  She always attended to the details and when she isn't here, the details don't get done.  We finally had to stop the service because it was becoming more work on our part than it was worth.  Hired her to do a special bit on our front slope and even after a call back the tubing still shows and weeding requested in the back was still undone after two requests.  Really sorry to see this happen, and wonder at the still "A" rating after reading the RECENT reviews.  If you are looking for a one-time service, she may still be the answer.

They began by cleaning up my back yard. Then install the front planter out of decorative blocks and containing granite boulders, sprinklers, drought tolerant plants and bark. Her crew also installed pavers in the park way, up dated sprinkler system in front along with tilling and installing sod. Her crew member Vicente did an outstanding job on installing the pavers in the parkway. He is a perfectionist!

The yard is already landscaped with existing plants and stonework. They were careful in making certain the original positioning of the stonework was the same as they found it. The shape is curved and they were excellent at the cut and paste process necessary to get the grass placed properly. The sprinkler system works wonderfully and provides good coverage.  J&J brought everything they needed to complete the job. They promptly responded to my messages and calls, and worked their schedule around mine, something I really appreciate. They were timely, thorough, careful and friendly. I am very happy with the outcome of their work.

They were great I can't find enough time to take care of the lawn so I needed to call someone and these guys did great. They did whatever needed to be done to the yard for it to be looking nice.
