This is definitely one of the finest automotive businesses we have ever been to. Driving up, the place is not much to look at. What they do at this place, however, is way beyond what anyone can reasonably expect. The owners, Dennis and Anne, and their son are seriously the real deal. They know their stuff, and they are fast workers, which keeps labor costs down. Plus, their labor cost per hour is far lower than any other shop I've ever heard of.
We brought our Kia Sedona in to get hood replaced. We brought the wrong with us, and they helped with wrong hood company coming to get their hood, and they ordered the right hood for us at minimal mark-up. New hood/hardware was on on minutes. They painted it too, and did a remarkable job matching colors. We took van back a couple of weeks later so they could fix both of our sliding doors, which were both pretty far out of whack. It took far longer then their quote (due to doors being so messed up, not anything on their part). They still honored their original quote. Wonderful!!
These guys know what they are doing. We will not hesitate to bring our cars back here at any time. I can not recommend Economy enough. Yes, they are that good!

I met with several body/paint shops in Orange County about restoring the exterior of my 69 Mustang. Several didn't even want to deal with a classic car because they focused on quick turnaround (high price) insurance work. Those that would work on the car told me it would be a minimum of $10k (which was more than I paid for the car).I was going to give up on the project until I came across Economy Paint and their great Yelp reviews. Even though they were over an hour away I figured it was worth a try. And I am glad I did. This is a family run business and they all take great pride in their work. As the other reviews state, Dennis is a "straight shooter" and after spending about an hour with him and his wife (Anne) and son (Darren) I knew my car would be in great hands.



Because of the extensive work involved (e.g. stripping down to the metal, adding some fiberglass pieces, removing panels, etc.) my car was there for a few months and I paid them several visits during that time. They didn't rush the project and wanted to make sure that it came out looking like "new." Every time I stopped by, I enjoyed hanging out with the "guys" and seeing the progress that was being made.



This is definitely not a fancy shop with a waiting area with a flat screen, cappuccino, and assorted cookies. If you want a fancy shop (and want to pay for all that overhead) then you need to go somewhere else. But, if you want a great job done at a very reasonable price, it's definitely worth the drive to check them out.



Most importantly, when I got my car back, they did a fabulous job. Going in I didn't think I could change the color to black (since black paint needs a perfect body since it shows even the slightest imperfections and after all this car was 45 years old). However, the work they did on the body was so good that I did paint it a metallic black and it looks absolutely awesome. If they could handle a "complex" job like mine flawlessly, I am confident that they can do a great job on most any car. I really enjoyed working with Dennis, Anne, Darren, Phil and the rest of the team and can confidently, and highly, recommend them for you paint/auto body needs.

I met with Dennis to get a quote to paint my older Mercedes. The car was starting to look tired and neglected and since I take it to several car shows a year and it is still my daily driver I needed to keep a balance of show and driver as far as price was concerned. Dennis went over the car with me, then spent a considerable amount of time out of his day to find out exactly what my expectations of the results were. He took the time to explain exactly what I could expect with each price point and type of paint job that he could do. I decided on a 2 stage paint job with him also doing the body work and extensive wet sanding and buffing/polishing.
I also gave him a very short time frame to complete the work as there was a show that I had committed to coming up. Dennis kept me updated on the progress and had the car completed in the time frame that I had requested and with outstanding results. He also took the time to let me know how to show the car without damaging the paint while it was still curing since I needed to drive over 300 miles to the show with the car fresh out of his shop.
I have waited a few months since having my car painted here to see if any issues would come up with the paint. I can say that all my expectations have been met and I am very happy with my choice of having the car completely repainted here. Just a very good experience with all my expectations being met at a fair price in the time frame that was promised. Good stuff.
