About us
I’m Jeff Coulson, founder of Coulson Crown Moulding and Construction, proudly serving homeowners throughout Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange, and San Bernardino counties. My construction career began in 1976 framing homes in Mission Viejo, and by 1988 I had earned my General B contractor’s license, later adding my C-6 finish carpentry license. For more than 50 years, I’ve worked hands-on every day—building ADUs, room additions, and specializing in custom crown molding, trim installation, and fine finish carpentry. I’m often called a perfectionist, and I take that as a compliment. Every corner, cut, and seam is crafted with precision and pride. As a licensed general contractor and finish carpenter, I understand how important it is to protect your home and your trust. I’m always happy to discuss project details, costs, and timelines, and to make sure your remodeling experience is smooth from start to finish.

They are perfectionists and are nice people to work with. The wooden surround of our French doors and screens had rotted. They replaced the damaged wood and reinstalled the doors. Great work, came as scheduled and left no mess. We highly recommend them!

I had a difficult project involving a cove that did not have even sides and I had a large crown moulding (8 1/2" wide). I could not be happier with the results. You can not see any gaps or nail holes and the caulking was done so well it is indiscernible. I have never seen crown moulding look so good. Thank you!
