I have used this clinic several times for routine procedures, treatment for illnesses, acupuncture, and euthanasia for my beloved pets. Dr. Schoen is outstanding and truly cares about the animals. The staff is friendly and compassionate. I highly recommend this hospital!

We have been using them for 20 years. I had blood work done which cost us a lot of money. Our experience with them has always been excellent.

Overall, I felt like my cat and I were not treated very warmly there. The prices were high and I felt it was the highest concern of the staff there - to receive their payment. The well-being of my cat was just secondary. When my cat was euthanized I even had to pay for everything in advance. Maybe they thought I would be too upset to pay afterwards but it could have been explained to me. Even when my cat was euthanized - which was a very sad and difficult experience for me - it was done with the least human exchange possible. The doctor as well as the staff only communicated in a minimal way with me. To them, putting an animal to sleep was just another part of the business.
While my cat was still alive, one staff member even got upset with my animal for acting scared and hissing. When they administered the fluid, they threw a towel over his face and muzzled him. Any animal would be scared and hissing in that kind of situation. My cat was much calmer, when I treated him myself with the fluids at home.
Overall, this is not a kind and caring place. If sensitivity and care in an animal hospital is important to you, I can only recommend to avoid this place.

They are not the cheapest service we've used, but they really care for the animals, and that matters to us. They're centrally located, close to other shopping options. Very professional, very caring. We've since used Canyon Crest for routine check-ups for our other cats, and feel good about using them.

I found the Canyon Crest Animal Hospital on Angie's List. As soon as I arrived I could tell that they care for the pets and the owners. They gave my dog a blanket to lie down on and a treat while we waited. I also got to see how sympathetic they were to a person that had just lost a pet. It didn't seem like my dog had a broken bone and to my surprise the vet suggested to wait a week to do any type of test. He would only prescribe some pain medication. I really got the sense that they truly care for our pet and weren't out to get as much money as they could out of us.

The staff that works here are great. They really comfort you with this type of situation. I have been going there for many years with this pet and others, so this place knows me and my pets by name when we call and walk in. I have taken dogs and cats to them in the past and have always been happy.

THE VET WAS SO CARING, AS ALWAYS. SHE PERFORMED THE DECLAWING PROCEDURE ON TWO CATS AND MADE SURE THEY WERE WELL BEFORE I COULD TAKE THEM. SHE GAVE ME THOROUGH INSTRUCTIONS AND AMPLE MEDICATION FOR THE CATS TO MAINTAIN.
