DO NOT HIRE!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Lacking attention to detail. Crooked cabinets and drawers. Splitting wood and paint. Unresponsive to, and does not return calls. Does not honor warranty work. Claimed to give us a functional kitchen without regard to the quality of their work. They also did our tile work which is hideous. It is so uneven it is literally 3D when light shines on it. They took longer than expected and wanted 90% payment when only 50% work was completed. Threatened to pull off the job if 90% payment was not made when only a little over 50% of work was completed. I can post photos if necessary.

Initially we were just planning to have our countertops redone and our beadboard cabinets repainted. Kaleb consulted with us about that and assured us that our cabinets could be refaced and many could be replaced with long drawers that would help us organize and access our pots and pans. We also wanted to cut down our high two-part island into one large flat surface. The project was planned for five days in April and the bulk of the work was completed in that time, but of course there are always delays in getting particular materials, like glass shelves, so there was a bit of lag completing the project. But Rick and Danny were great and took direction beautifully and were very considerate of our home. The quartz cutters were also superb and completed what was really a pretty big job quickly and cleanly. Meghan was very responsive to our many calls and questions. Overall we were very pleased with the outcome; now our kitchen is much brighter, more functional and definitely updated.

Highly recommend this company. Kaleb was professional and not a 'Hard seller' He listened to everything we wanted and even offered great ideas to enhance the efficiency of our kitchen. Danny and Rick were 'spot on' with their knowledge and skill. They were efficient, timely and extremely professional. Megan is a great coordinator and communicator. Our experience was wonderful. I was skeptical in hiring this company because I wasnâ t sure they would be able to finish my kitchen as quick as they said they could but I was completely wrong! Built By Design Cabinets not only transformation my kitchen into my dream kitchen but they completed the job in just 3 days! Their designer, Kaleb, had such an unique eye and his expertise made my kitchen what it is today. I was unsure of the actual design but Kaleb had many ideas, ideas that he actual took into consideration of my kitchen needs and helped design the kitchen to be better than I thought it could be. He was very personable and efficient. Rick and Danny were our installers and they were professional and their organization skills were impeccable. They left my kitchen immaculate after each day they were here. They transformed my cabinets to look like a Home and Garden showroom. I could not be more satisfied with the work they did. I would highly recommended this company to all my friends and family!

We found them unprofessional and the quality of work was not satisfactory. We had to have them come back out and fix things that they should have done right the first time. While questioning the quality of the repairs they would say No one will see that. Our 5 day job took 7 weeks. After they were done we wanted a copy of the warranty and it took 3 weeks to get it, only after threatening to report them to Consumer Affairs. We would not recommend this company.

Highly recommend Built by Design! My kitchen looks fantastic after refacing work completed - looks high-end and expertly crafted. All employees were professional and committed to customer satisfaction. Never a problem to reach the office with requests or questions, and work began each day on time. Highest praise for a job well done!

Kaleb suggested changing one section from doors to drawers which added so much more storage space. The pantry has heavy duty pull out drawers. Love this upgrade! A disappointment: the bottom of the upper cabinets were not finished so I had to paint them myself since they were visible while sitting on our family room couch. There were shipping delays on the handles we ordered (understandable)but this was not communicated until I made several calls about it. They installed other handles when the cabinet doors were installed and we still have them. The quote of the project and the installation were done efficiently and on time. Overall, pleased with the result.

They refaced my cabinet and replaced my counter tops. I am really happy with my kitchen, it looks awesome. This company did an exceptional job! Megan kept me informed, and all the workers were really great. Caleb was very professional, yet very friendly, the guys who replaced my counter top did a great job and Daniel (I think thatâ s his name) worked from eight in the morning until late that night. Awesome crew! I highly recommend this company.

Awesome company, very honest & upfront!

They refaced my cabinets and build new drawers where needed. They give me much more quality work than I had in the last refacing. I purchased my home new 33 years ago. So this is the second time I have had my kitchen refaced so I was overwhelmed by the difference in the quality of the product, workmanship and service. They went over the top to please me and make me happy. They didnâ  t waste time and had the project done in 1.5 days. They weâ  re careful to keep my cream carpet from getting dirty by covering with blankets. I asked them to quote my 2 sons kitchens because they loved what the company did for me.

My newly refaced cabinets look wonderful. Best move made. Kitchen look brand new.

Please consider this outstanding company if you planning to reface your kitchen cabinets. My 35 year-old kitchen had an antiquated and worn appearance. Their expert workmen were on-time and completed their work as promised, exceeding my expectations. I received great value for my money!!!!

This company is non-responsive after you release last Check to bank. Project Manager will never return your phone call. Crews have been in the house five times and still have not finished since September. Look elsewhere!

Very easy to deal with and genuinely care about their product/workmanship! They are very prompt in fixing anything regards to workmanship--they even came out the same day we noticed that a corner was lifting and needed to be re-glued! Nice to know I can call on them if needed!

Kaleb and his entire support crew made our reface pretty painless. He offered great suggestions and truly made our kitchen look exactly how I wanted. :) Working with his people was easy; they're all very very nice people who know what needs to be done. I've already recommended to one of my neighbors. Update in July/21...This is an edit from our first review 2 years ago. Built by Design finished our reface and counter tops end July 2019. In December 2019 I noticed a crack in a countertop and decided due to holidays I'd call them in January, which I did. Once or twice after that as well with no response. Then corona virus. We called again in April and were told they would be going back into homes in May and would get back with us. Which they never did. We called again. And again. Again. For a year we tried getting someone back to our home. Finally someone came out to look at the problem in early April 2021, saying he would talk to Caleb, the owner. Then nothing else from this company. So we resumed calling again. And again. And again.... Finally around early May 2021 the owner Caleb came out and in addition to the cracked counter observed a number of other issues that HE, Caleb, said should have been addressed before our job was completed. It is now July 9th 2021 and a guy arrived today with no materials & not even sure what he was supposed to be doing. It has been 23, twenty three, months since our project ended . Cracked counter. Details not addressed before 'finishing. STILL chasing customer service from this company twenty three months later. Think long and hard before you hire this company.

Our refacing project included all of our bathroom and linen cabinets. We love the cabinets, but unfortunately I would not be able to recommend this company. Upon further inspection of the drawers, I found that two drawers were incorrectly measured which resulted in gaps in the bottom of these drawers. I called the company and an employee to come out and said that the drawers would be replaced. That was in late August. The employee said the drawers would be ready for install on October 29th. When I called they said they needed 7 more days. It is now middle of November, and I am still waiting for these drawers to be replaced. I have called this company numerous times to check on this problem, and they always tell me someone will call me back but rarely do I get a return call. The last call, today, has yet to be returned. I am beyond frustrated...
