**UPDATE**
The BlueLinx CEO did quickly resolve the problem once it came to his attention and made amends by not charging us for the wood that took six months to deliver. I, therefore, have revised my evaluation of the company. The Mangaris wood itself is an exceptional product -- beautiful to look at and it is highly resistant to termite and rot damage. The price of the wood is high, but so is the quality. I do highly recommend Mangaris Diamond wood.

Mangaris hardwood lumber has attractive properties, but it is no use if you pay for it and then don?t get it. In September 2011 we placed a large order to rebuild five decks at our house. The company that promised to deliver it to our lumber yard is named Blue Linx. They delivered much of it, but seven months later Blue Linx has still failed to deliver a major part of the order. Our job stands unfinished. Our carpenter has packed up his tools and moved to other projects.
After waiting patiently and accepting excuse after excuse, I began digging deeper. A Blue Linx representative told me that back in the fall they had shipped our order to another customer. Then rather than correcting the mistake, they gave our lumber yard promise after promise that the delayed shipment would be delivered at Date X in the future. When Date X arrived, we were given another future date that also proved false.
I will never become dependent on Blue Linx again. If I were starting now, I would either insist that my lumber yard order Mangaris from a different supplier or choose a different product.
