On the first visit, she came without a flashlight, which I lent her one. She had a really short ladder. I asked her what kind of bait she used and she said dog food because peanuts can cause allergic reactions, but she asked if I had some peanut butter and I did not. On the second visit, they came late and checked the traps without results. I continued to hear the rat and she didn't show up for the third visit, twice, so I checked the traps myself. I found no bait in the traps under the house or in the attic, not a trace, and the shiny yellow plastic was shiny as new. She never put bait in the traps, and the only thing I saw was the bird seed I gave her when she asked for it on the second visit. I called the assistant branch manager, Ron Evans. He was nice, shocked and I got a refund. He was very responsive. Naturally, I fired them and hired someone else and the rat is history. The second company found additional entry points on the roof and chimney which Orkin could not find because of the short ladder.
