RHODES LANDSCAPE DESIGN INC

I have used Rhodes Landscape Design (also known as Landscapes by Rhodes) twice.    In 2012  I had them do my front yard, which had some interesting challenges as the street is at the top of the hill and the house is lower than the street.   Dave Rhodes developed a great design and his team complete the work on time and on budget.   I have only gotten compliments on the resulting work, although there was some issues with the concrete cracking, Rhodes made an effort to address those issues.   After a couple of years and now that the plants have reached maturity, there is significant overcrowding of the plants.    Some had died and others have been removed or transplants to the backyard to address the problem.    Rhodes could have reduced the planting costs by anticipating the final grown size of the plants.

Not good. Had to fight the whole time for the job to be done correctly, had to watch their mistakes the whole way. To their credit they remedied any problems, but it was a battle with the owner. Major mistakes were made and cost them to remedy, but they test you to see if its acceptable when its not. Do not hire this company for a large job. They do have a great foreman in John but are stretched thin having him on all their job sites. Took way to long.

Rhodes did excellent work on most phases of the work. The owners, Kim & Dave, are very friendly and professional. The work was detailed in the contract; proof of license and insurance were provided when requested and the work was done in an expert and timely manner. The only place for improvement that we can note is with the sealing crew -- they provided the wrong sealant initially and had to return to improve and complete the job. Overall, we are very happy with the work and strongly recommend Rhodes Landscape and Design!

They really provided us with poor service. The concrete is uneven and darker in some places than others. The crew had no supervising and they didn't follow the blueprint for the landscaping. There were several mistakes in the plants they put down. They were late all the time and I had a hard time getting someone to call me back. This job was an all around disaster.
