Description of Work: We always use Jim and trust his advice. My 1996 Acura was having problems and he diagnosed it as OCS (old car syndrome). He told us he could retire trying to find the problem, but we would be best served by buying another car instead. It's not the first time he's given us advice that a less ethical mechanic would not.

 + -1 moreTheir prices are a little lower than others. I have been using them for several years now. They give personal attention to me and my vehicles which I like. Scheduling goes well and they accommodated to my schedule. I do not have to wait long to get my car back, I usually drop it off for the day. I have not had any issues with them.
Description of Work: They do the oil change and routine maintenance on several of my cars. I have diesel vechicles.

 + -1 moreEvery experience with Jim has been good. We've always driven off knowing our car was serviced as though it was his own.
Description of Work: We have taken our vehicles to Jim for probably 10 years now and have always been completely satisfied with his service and his integrity. If there are options, he gives them to us, and usually recommends we start with the least expensive. Example: The A/C on my car was not cooling anymore (it's a 1996 Acura). He said it could need to be replaced (which seemed reasonable given the age of the car) or it could be a leak. We could replace the unit outright or he could recharge the A/C and add a dye that would tell us where the leak is. He recommended the dye. That was probably a year ago and the A/C is still working fine. If it's a leak, it's a slow one, and we're grateful to have the extra time. He's an excellent mechanic, and we're very comfortable with him.
