Nelson at Country Air came to us based on a very high personal recommendation. He did an excellent job of assessing, quoting, and installing a new heating, A/C. and air filtration system for our one-story, 1100 sq. ft. house. He was actually able to come to the house for a quote the first day we called them. He made a thorough onsite evaluation and recommended the right system with a detailed explanation of the options and brands. The quote was right at what we expected and the work was started sooner than proposed and finished exactly on schedule. The crew was professional and friendly, the quality of the work was excellent, and cleanup was perfect.

Nelson was great to deal with. He figured out the best way to install the unit and did a very professional job. Also, his price was far less than a competing, larger HVAC company. I am so glad that I chose Country Air and highly recommend them.

I moved into a home recently and the HVAC system didn't really work  in the front half of the house.  I had someone else from Angie's List look at it, who said the whole ducting system needed to be replaced due to the crazy nature of the system's installation (he's right, it is a weird setup).  He quoted me "at least" $2,500 in labor plus "unknown" costs for the parts. Yikes.

I called Nelson instead.  He came the afternoon I called him and was just as confused by my ducting system as the other guy was.  But Nelson took some time to think about it, and he had his guy crawl under the house to really inspect things.  In about 15 minutes, he'd identified the main issues and got to work.  In less than an hour, he had fixed a disconnected duct and re-balanced the entire air system by tweaking all of the baffles.  Everything now works fantastically. It's like a completely different system.

By the way, I also had Nelson install a new air conditioning condenser at my previous house (around 2008).  He did a great job then too and his prices were great.  Stupid me for forgetting to call him first this time.
