It?s September 3, 2016 (Labor Day Weekend) while most of SOCAL was enjoying family, beach and mountains Air Breeze employees were completing an emergency replacement of my AC system. They were able to reach out to their network and open a distributer to obtain the exact unit we needed. The team that completed the install was courteous and professional respecting out property and leaving it spotless and COOL! 5-star service!
Air Breeze installed a new central heating and air conditioning in our house in 2012. They did a very clean and professional job. The job passed all city inspections on the first time.
In June 2016 there was a leak in the drainage PCV pipe got plugged up that caused a 5x6 feet of our ceiling to collapse. We did not see any signs of wet spots on our ceiling because our ceiling is plastered. We called Air Breeze to let them know what happened and Leo the owner of Air Breeze was at my house within 2 hours of my phone called. They repaired the drainage pipe, installed a second drainage emergency drain pan and electric water safety switch and inspected the a/c unit. Everything is working perfect and he also offered to pay a 50% of my insurance deductible and gave me 5 years’ free service with 3 years of free filters, which I gladly accepted. Air Breeze did not have to offer me anything because my warranty on my parts and labor expired 3 ½ years ago. I appreciate everything Air Breeze did for us and I highly recommend Air Breeze.
Leo and his team came over to our house twice and spent plenty of time with us answering questions and giving us what we felt was a professional, unbiased opinion on what we needed and did not need to get done. At no point was there any pressure to decide immediately, nor were there any sales tactics such as if you buy now, here's a better price. What was also unique about AirBreeze was that they were the only contractor I have ever met with who provided transparency around pricing...this is in contrast to the lump sum that other contractors provide. We felt as though Air Breeze was a team of honest professionals who pride themselves on doing the highest quality work for a reasonable price.
On the day of the actual job, everything went smoothly. From the moment they arrived, it was clear that Roger, Sergio and Pedro were highly skilled technicians and knew what they were doing. They completed the job on time and left the house as clean as when they found it. They didn't even leave a screw or a washer behind. And there were no surprises during the job, they just did what they said they would do, for the price they promised, at the time they promised, and the house is running cool now! Exactly what we wanted. Thank you Air Breeze!
We needed to replace our air condition system. We had a few estimates from other companies; however, at the same time we contacted Air Breeze and made an appointment for a representative to meet with us. Leo came to our home and explained to us in detail what needed to be replaced and gave us an estimate. We were happy with the estimate but our main issue was we were not able to take off work so we wouldn’t be home. We worked with the crew to make sure the door was never open. They were very professional and helpful. We are !00% happy we chose Air Breeze.

ago when my central heating system went out. Air breeze is located in Reseda
and I live in the South
Bay area. That did not
matter. Leo made the trip and kept me posted at every step. I recall it was
raining that day and traffic was horrific. When Leo arrived, he was polite and
courteous. His motto was ?you are the
customer and I am here to serve you.? Having traveled for such a long way,
I thought for sure I would be pressured into buying an entire new system but
no, it was a heating coil/element. Leo
replaced it and told me the system still had some life left. I was floored. And
indeed, he was correct. The system lasted for about five more years then went
out again. Without hesitation, I called Air Breeze and I was relieved to find
Leo had not changed. He was still the polite and courteous person I met years
ago and he remembered me and the system I had!
This time I did need a new system and I was expecting it. Leo introduced me to the HERO program and I
replaced my heating system and my Central Air. The program is super and the
customer service from HERO is exceptional. Leo worked every step of the way to
keep cost down. The work has to be inspected and approved by HERO before Air
Breeze can be paid. When working with inspectors, minor delays can happen but
Leo was never in a hurry to be paid. I think of him as ?The gentleman
contractor.? I don?t usually write
reviews and certainly not this length but I want everyone to know what an
exceptional man Leo is. It?s almost hard
to believe, but it?s true. Leo has unwavering integrity and is devoted to top tier
customer service. Is he fair and will not over charge you. He is polite and tells you what he is going
to do and then does it. No surprises. My
system is working extremely well and we
are very happy with the product and the
service we received. Air Breeze gets a
?10? in my book.

[member name removed] did his homework and had a furnace with modulating two stage gas valve and ECM fan motor. the system is powerful very quiet and is ultra high efficient. [member name removed] have referred us to his neighbor's and we are thankful for the referral."
The installers arrived on time, took care to avoid damaging floors or spreading dust/dirt. They made a new platform and the workmanship was fine on that and the whole project. All commitments were honored.
We had some minor problem with the system a few months after the installation, but they handled it so quickly that I don't recall what it was. And, months later, the system is functioning fine.
I recommend this company for the value, the quality of the work and integrity.

The heat pump they told us was brand new, and we could get a discount on because it had a cosmetic dent in it. We later found out this was built in 2005 and isn't running properly raising our bill.
We were very disappointed with this company and feel they took advantage of us by selling old equipment and saying it is brand new.
This issue has been satisfactorily resolved.
"Dear Member, I have read the Angie`s list Review that you wrote and it deeply sadden me. We are deeply concerned with your experience and your opinion and satisfaction is important to us. We were hired to install an air handler and a heat pump. We really wished to do well. We provided the quote which was approximately $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 less than the other quote you had for basic entry level equipment. First Issue: AIR HANDLER The electrical power in the attic is 115 volts when it needed 220 volts of electrical supply for the air handler and that is the way the previous air handler was installed. We spent a very long time working on the electrical panel at absolute no cost to you. We also replaced and updated the breakers at our cost. We did our best attempt to work with the original electrical panel which was still at a very good condition even though it was the original one. This is why we modified an air handler that we originally had to be 115 volts just like the previous one and installed it. Something was lost in translation or you did not have full understanding of what we were doing. We wish to solve this misunderstanding and to bring everything to your full satisfaction. We will at our cost provide a new 220 volt electrical line to the attic. We offer/recommend to replace the air handler to an absolute brand new 220 volt air handler. Before replacement, we will get in writing from the manufacturer the best matching recommendation for a new air handler for your viewing and approval. Second Issue: The heat pump air conditioning condenser is a brand new ultra high efficiency 17.5 SEER with a two stage compressor. To bring the facts straight, the heat pump condenser was manufactured in 2007 and definitely not in 2005. Please note the serial number: E070527523 The equipment was opened out of its original package by us for the first time at your home and it started up. 10 years of warranty, provided by the manufacturer, started from the date of installation which is still in full force and effect. We are attaching a printout that was provided from the manufacturer and we will provide you with phone numbers you can call to validate that warranty from the start date of installation.If you are kind to communicate with us and let us do all we can to make it right by you, we will add the following: 1. We will extend labor warranty/repair service, on top of manufacturer parts warranty, until 2022 for the outdoor heat pump unit. 2. We will provide 10 years of our own labor warranty/ repair service until 2023 for the indoor air handler, should you let us replace it. 3. We will provide 10 years of air filters replacement and two pre- seasonal services a year, one before summer and one before winter, at our cost. 4. We will refund back to you $298.00, the symbolic amount that you paid to upgrade from standard efficiency equipment to the ultra high efficiency unit in question. This upgrade that you received normally costs over $2,000.00. We look forward to do all that is necessary to resolve this issue.
